Needs a flash, oekaki, and a secret board
Needs more love
I love you
Needs more actual quality, fewer unfounded proclamations of it.
Obviously, we need more .css stylesheets!
We need a VIPstore.
Just imagine this: People will exchange money for VIPcoins to purchase items in the VIPPER Store. DADDYCOOL would be selling quality goods. There would be a phone number, that, when dialled, would yield the ``please wait'' message, with Daddy Cool playing in the background. And COOL FREE RINGTONES as a bonus to every purchase over a set threshold.
Oh, yes...
maiddog.png should bring us tea and crumpets everyday at a fixed schedule.
We can obviously make it better than Gaia, it just requires a web developer who can maintain a social networking site.
>>21 Or, you could just remain an INSUFFERABLE NERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRD
Add a permanent link to the imageboard on the text board, and vice-versa.
GENOCIDE BY BOOMERANGS
>>25
I suggest adding a ``GENOCIDE BY BOOMERANGS'' button, akin to the mittens button at DQN. It would release wild boomerangs in case a genocide is needed.
>>30,32-33,35-36
Using these posts as signatures in my ``GENOCIDE BY BOOMERANGS'' petition, I propose that this feature is indeed to be implemented. Just think about the ramifications!
On the links app, I think you should:
<title>Link</title>
<link>http://links.secretareaofvipquality.net/link/99</link>
In a RSS reader, it shows up as an entry entitled "Link" that links to the comment thread. It would be much better if it were like
<title>THE BLANKET THAT HAS SLEEVES</title>
<link>http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2xZp-GLMMJ0</link>
with the link to the comment thread in the description - in general you will want to see the link first, and maybe discuss later, rather than the other way around.
Perhaps sort the links by rating.
More categories for links would be fine.
>>38
This is how the RSS feed looks in google reader and the links work as you would expect. I take it your feed reader is ignoring the <description> field but I'll rearrage stuff like you've requested.

I'll work on the RSS and what 38,39,40 have brought up this weekend.
What this board needs is more JISAKUJIENS
I still think that we need links to the imageboard in the text board and vice versa.
I want to give money to Daddycool I feel like i have not paidhim enough ;)

You must be new here ;)
changes suggested in the above thread to SAoVL have been rolled out (including the pony).
We need more hidden comments and secret variable names in the css, html, and js of SAoVQ

We need a mobile version. I wanna VIP on the go.
I forgot 4-ch had a mobile site.
NOW IF ONLY THERE WERE THINGS TO READ ON 4-ch wwww
You are beginning to feel very sleepy...
NOW I'VE LOST IT
I KNOW I CAN VIP
THE TRUTH IS JUST BEYOND THE tupac.htm

I think it's a good idea to keep them separate. For one, most people don't go to VIPCHAT otherwise there would be more people. Second, VIPCHAT should just be a separate optional thing, it would seem forced and too "official." I would like to continue enjoying SAoVQ as a separate entity. Anyways, most chats are pretty unVIP. There's some weird thing that happens in all IRC channels and most chat rooms, everyone becomes really lame and elitists or the discussions never really go anywhere. So yeah.
>>60
But what if the names were forced VIPPER, unless you were Daddy Cool?
>>61
I don't think that would help much. We've seen in serious threads that using names where necessary for long-term organization works for us too, so it doesn't seem to be the (only) problem. It's the whole IRC thing that changes everything.
>>62
Definitely, anyone who has been around for long term IRC communities know that in the end they end up sucking.
IRC's also take a while to start up. The first few weeks are pretty un-VIP. Once everyone finishes making penis jokes or such, than the IRC gets good, and then it slowly fizzles down to like 3 members, all of which are usually AFK.
I was always afraid that the VIPdom will split into two, the VIPchatters, and VIPnonchatters.
I suggest all chat threads be banished to the VIPCLUB board.
Let's just see what happens and talk about it again in a few weeks instead of predicting social effects and/or impending doom.
