Hello, fellow VIPPERS. I'm from Galveston, Texas, and as you may know, Hurricane Ike hit us pretty damn bad. I think the death toll so far is 6,000+.
Luckily, I got out right before shit went too crazy. I'm right now staying at another VIPPER's house at San Antonio, and I'm thankful for him letting me room with him. (Thank you, San Antonio VIPPER-san.)
But this is where my story gets sad. I've lost my family. I'm sure they are one of the 6,000 dead there. I can feel it. I can't go back to search for at least a month or so, and even if they are alive, they most certainly think I am dead. They are the only family I have left, and I don't know what to do.
Well, thanks for hearing my story, guys. Wish me good luck, I have a lot of work to do.

I attend college on Galveston at the Texas A&M campus there, and I feel your pain, VIPPER, my room mates refused to evacuate, and I fear they are lying mangled under the hull of a cargo ship that washed ashore now, they were my only friends.
On top of that, now I have to go to dirty, son-of-bitch College station campus until further notice.
