Gelato, or the plural Gelati, is ITALIAN ice cream made from a liquid, milk or water; a solid, sugar, fats or sweeteners; flavorings, pastes, fruit powders; stabilizers, guar gum, locust bean, etc.; emulsifiers, mono- and digylcerides; and air.

The process in which gelato is made varies on the ingredients used as it can be made using a hot process, which includes pasteurization or as a cold process which doesn't require pasteurization. Both processes require a gelato batch freezer, which makes the end product by mixing the ingredients and incorporating air. Like high-end ice cream, gelato generally has less than 55% air, resulting in a denser and more flavorful product.

What kind of QUALITY are Ice-cream sandwiches? its like a lunch item, only masterfully retooled into dessert.

23 Name: VIPPER : 2008-11-10 11:30 [Del]

perhaps you can freeze meat in between two pieces of bread and have it become a frozen meat sandwhich. This would be something, huh?

24 Name: VIPPER : 2008-11-10 12:41 [Del]

I think you would have to puree the meat first so its not just a solid block, but has a consistency that can be bitten into like ice cream.

you can add your other toppings in the mix while you're at it too.

One day, my cousin had an idea to add mashed Milky Way ® (non-US version) to ice cream. It was delicious and most certainly VIP QUALITY.

26 Name: VIPPER : 2008-11-10 14:05 [Del]

I think adding Milky Way to a frozen pureed meat sandwhich would not work too well, perhaps we can add cheese logs to it.

Oh no, it would be like sausage then, maybe Milky Way is the best Way.
