Yeah, that's the sort of reason why it doesn't count. Feels like right now there are only PC-style games, and they are all on consoles. And to make this worse all the Japanese devs are talking among themselves about "How to make games more suitable for the west. Lesson-one: bald soldiers in space".
Still, I am not that excited about SF4, because there's not many people where I live who would care about this sort of games, and online play can't live up to what it felt like playing SF2 as kids.
Let's cry about how the 90's were an anomaly that will never happen again.

I, too, am awaiting the PC version. I realize that I'd have to upgrade my PC bu June but I will get more out of upgrading than buying a 360 or PS3. Not to mention my PC can't give me a red ring.
For now I'm stuck with playing SFIV at stores on the weekends. Once they take it out then there's a place nearby where you can pay to play 360 games, so I may even do that if I get desperate...
