That's not such a bad idea, I'm in.
If the articles are entirely composed in AA story format, I'm in.
I actually love the idea of this. I have some disdain for the CD project because I think it doesn't have much to do with SAoVQ really, but this idea seems great! We could even get it printed and send it out.
I would definitely print them out to distribute during my cross-country MUSIC-BAND'S tours.
I have Touhou fanfiction that I can contribute, assuming I ever finish writing it.
I put down some ideas on the tanasinn wiki, please review.

There should be AT LEAST one article composed entirely in an AA story format. That's vital.
Having it physically printed out sounds really cool. Imagine, holding that much VIP in your hands...
Will it read right to left?
>>12 I second this but obviously it'd have to be free...if we share the cost of printing, though, I'm sure it would be more than manageable, especially if it's printed fairly cheaply and in limited quantity.
>>15
I don't think we would be printing many copies anyways. I urge people to freely post all ideas on the tanasinn wiki. I think sometimes our problem is that we all hold our ideas inside not thinking they are good enough, but for projects like this we just need progress so let your ideas fly!
We need to feature this guy's art!

Here's another link to the tanasinn.info page, in case anyone missed it. Please come on in and join in the editing if you have a spare minute!
I wish I was VIP quality enough to contribute to this.
I would be happy to contribute, though I'd have to brainstorm something to submit...
I wrote a poem for this but I was asleep and then I got woken up suddenly and lost it.
Let's just use this thread for submissions, so that we don't take up too much board space. I guess we should have an email address to send submissions to (or something like that) and a list of "jumping off points" that people can use to get started on making things (which can all be found on the wiki page). Of course, you can write, draw, do whatever you want, but having some ideas like "your own AA story" or "a VIP comic" will probably help people decide on what they want to submit.
Has to read left to right.

We should have one article for this thread.
You know, in case nobody's seen it yet.
What about multiple submissions? Would it be better to submit a couple of things and let someone decide what doesn't suck, or just save it up for other issues?
Also I was thinking it might be better to email submissions rather than put them on the wiki, so we don't all read everything before the actual zine gets made. How does VIPPER feel about that?

I agree with you, but it'd make it harder for people to work on layout or proofread or whatever. I see how it'd be best for people to email submissions, but it's still a group-based project, at least somewhat.
As for multiple submissions, saving stuff seems like a good thing. Most of the stuff here is VIP quality... and for the music project, not every song is of the best quality. Unless someone were to do something like a really long, boring, unfunny story that's poorly written, I don't think that too much content should be denied. Most of the stuff is probably going to be on the shorter side, and VIPPERs are usually self-conscious about stuff, even though it's all done anonymously.
If something had bad grammar or was badly written, the editors/proofreaders could either fix it or help the author work through it. And something like Tablecat sitting on a table saying "JEWS JEWS JEWS JEWS JEWS" might be funny once or something. I would just predict a trend of slightly less content than too much content. And since it would probably be posted as a .pdf after a few were mailed out or whatever, it's okay if there's one or two "boring" things.
Assuming that people want to go by "VIPPER," I don't think it'd be a problem to post multiple stories by one guy unless it made the zine really long. The goal's to get some good text stuff, and when people submit more, it makes it more likely!
Should the crew make a secret page, or a Google Group, or something? What do you suggest for keeping things secret?
>>30
I completely agree with everyone you said.
I think a Google Group is perfect actually. We can all create emails (or use old emails) for it. We can work on proofreading works together/compiling stuff/send each other different editions, etc. This way the content will all be secret too, and we can still do submission by email.
I have gone ahead and made a Google Group unless anyone has any objections to this. If you are interested in working on this as staff (not just submission) then please email vipperzine@gmail.com and I'll add you to the group.
Please send your submissions to vip-zine@googlegroups.com !
I'll start working on something this weekend, perhaps.
There must be a page entirely dedicated to reporting that I, VIPPER, have a penis!
penis penis penis!
I am going to write about HORSES. The good news is that I have already started.
>>36 ok, but I call writing about Jews
An excerpt: "JEWS JEWS JEWS JEWS"
IMPORTANT UPDATE: The previous submission email does not work so please send submissions to: vipperzine@gmail.com instead!
Thanks!
We should also post a section of the story of VIP-lantus each volume - around 100 posts per zine?
>>37
There has to be a line break after every "JEWS" or it just doesn't work.
I don't remember the VIP-lantis story being that long. Maybe like 25-50 post per Zine
People, please submit some things!
vipperzine@gmail.com
Will you read my VIPPERZINE? I like to read yours, so will you read mine?
>>50
The story does have posts that could be construed as commercial breaks or "ends of episodes" that would chop it up rather nicely to serialize.
I just wanted to bump this thread once more and mention that we have received zero submissions so far. Please submit something!
vipperzine@gmail.com

I see that I am not the only one that operates under the belief that JEWS != VIP.
world4ch's News for VIP is a front group for DQN to slander VIPPERs. Don't be fooled by its name!
>>58
That idea is preposterous, sir! You are a madman!
World5Ch.net is much more QUALITY than world4ch.
