Let's use this thread to discuss the nature and various brands of goat cheese!
My work is having a Christmas party at a nice Portuguese restaurant. One of the entrees we are able to have is chicken breast stuffed with mushrooms and goat cheese. I decided to get the lightly battered fish instead because meat being stuffed with stuff just grosses me out unless it's turkey. I'm very rarely a picky eater, but I never been big on stuffed meat.
The thing I actually wanted to say was I never had goat cheese before. orz
I sometimes shop at this wine place that also sells cheese, sausages, and other assorted stuff. One day they had this little circle of cheese in a small wooden box, it was totally gray and fuzzy.
I bought it on a whim.
Wish I could remember its name now, something french, believe it was goat, though it might have been sheep. Anyway, it was very good.
