I'm afraid you can't just enforce VIP QUALITY like that. Their posture is to be expected, since most places on the internet do not even try to promote decency and interest in one's posts, and you know SAoVQ has little to none influence.

Commitment to quality must come from yourself and not from any kind of moderation. Even places like FORTRAN whould work, but I guess only in theory... In fact, FORTRAN proves that moderation does not solve this problem.

Sorry if this is a tired discussion, I sure feel it is.

I've spent 3 days deleting almost 3TB worth of duplicated/outdated/stupid/useless old files, hoarded in byzantine hierarchies on a dozen of different HDs, consolidating more than 15 years worth of data on just one 1.5TB HD.
I can probably still reclaim 500GB more by junking stuff, compressing things, and converting some files to more efficient formats; but now that I've reached the 1.5TB bar, I am celebrating by running my first fully-automated incremental backup to another 1.5TB HD!
I'll never have to make another manual backup ever again!
