[GAMING] Post VIP Games [BONDING] (387)

1 Name: VIPPER : 2008-10-19 08:38 [Del]

Post about games that are of VIP Quality or need VIPPER attention!

I'll start with Dwarf Fortress for obvious reasons! ( ˃ ヮ˂)

Next up is Phantasy Star Online: Blue Burst!
Sometimes I play with Japanese VIPPERs, they often don't speak a word of English but sometimes we swap emoticons! My SJIS for theirs! ( ゚ ヮ゚)

If I'm lucky, I'll see a VIPPER or two in TF2! Yes, on Weeabootique, though I rarely play anymore. ( ゚ -゚)

2 Name: VIPPER : 2008-10-19 09:39 [Del]

How about not

3 Name: VIPPER : 2008-10-19 10:11 [Del]

SaGa games.

4 Name: VIPPER : 2008-10-19 11:03 [Del]

All creatures able to block target creature this turn do so and you gonna do nothin' about it.

5 Name: VIPPER : 2008-10-19 11:11 [Del]

I like Phantasy Star Online Blue Burst a lot when I played it for dreamcast. Where do you play now that there are VIPPERS?

I also play TF2 fairly often.

6 Name: VIPPER : 2008-10-19 11:16 [Del]

( ゚ -゚) I still occasionally play Phantasy Star Online: Blue Burst, however I don't really have enough time to do so anymore.

..I didn't start too long ago, actually!

7 Name: VIPPER : 2008-10-19 14:05 [Del]

Rick Dangerous's burly manly figure is TRULY VIP QUALITY!

8 Name: VIPPER : 2008-10-19 17:33 [Del]

Dwarf Fortress!

I've been meaning to play that since i saw it somewhere else, and it looked like a lot of fun (i like games like that)

Also, another: Wetrix?
Abandonware (free), fairly hard, colorful, hard, has ducks! And you can blow up the little ducks... (゚.゚) yeah.

I submit thee to judgment.

My account on PSOBB got deleted due to inactivity. I recently made a new one.

Where do you guys play?

I was expecting a wiki profile of a gay pornstar wwwwww

11 Name: VIPPER : 2008-10-20 00:23 [Del]

I play PSO on Skyline, Block 2, usually in Lobby 3

12 Name: VIPPER : 2008-10-20 00:24 [Del]

Everyone needs to try LSD on the PS1. It's a "dream simulator" with almost no gameplay. Includes glorious low-poly nightmares, scariest thing on the PS1 I swear. The actual game is impossible to buy without parting with huge amounts of VIPCOINS, but the iso is easy to find.
I'm actually pretty sure I already posted about this game on SAOVQ once.

13 Name: VIPPER : 2008-10-20 11:21 [Del]

>>12
Wow I'm surprised anyone else has played this game. I have played it too. I love these sort of creepy exploring type games. Yume Nikki and LCD are the only games I've found like this.

14 Name: VIPPER : 2008-10-20 11:38 [Del]

Do all of you guys who play PSOBB play on Schtserv? If so we should all make characters and play together!

15 Name: VIPPER : 2008-10-20 20:29 [Del]

I'm afraid that I've never understood the appeal of PSO. It always seemed to be very boring and repetitive to me. Maybe there is something wrong with me... (´・ω・`)

>>15
It's a game you can only play for two weeks at a time. Like Diablo 2! But I would imagine it would be a lot more fun playing with VIPPERs.

17 Name: VIPPER : 2008-10-25 10:41 [Del]

We do play on schtserv, we should make characters and play together!

I played Wetrix. Abandonware? I played it on the N64! It was great. I really like Tetris and most of its clones.

Anything that doesn't play by the game boy rules is unplayable for me. Tetris rule variants are a ridiculously complex topic, but basically the most important issue is that there are many different rotation systems, and some of them make game-breaking moves perfectly legal.
The current "official" implementations are a real joke. It hurts to see the holding company, which no longer has any ties with Pajitnov, assraping our cultural heritage to make it more "casual". Young kids growing up with these versions must have a really hard time understanding why we love this game.

>>19
What do you think of THE GRAND MASTER?

21 Name: VIPPER : 2008-10-26 05:59 [Del]

That I don't have the level to enjoy it for starters (just in case someone hasn't already seen this vid: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jwC544Z37qo). Never got to try it, but it looks like Arika made a lot more efforts to add stuff without breaking the game than the Tetris Company does in its games.

22 Name: VIPPER : 2008-10-26 11:39 [Del]

I highly encourage every VIPPER here to purchase/pirate the US version of Technic Beat for the PS2. It's a rhythm game that mixes elements of Ouendan with Beatmania. What's more important is that the entire soundtrack is composed by the sampling masters, who are elderly versions of the people who wrote the original Dig-Dug/Metrocross/Pac-Man themes. They not only provide original music but went back and remixed their original music. There's a torrent of the soundtrack on fapis for anyone who wants to listen before they play. If you plan to buy it, it shouldn't be terribly expensive (I'm pretty sure I got my copy for 20 dollars). Further make sure that you get the US version, because there are two japanese versions but the US version has both of those games' songlists.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FT5CauP0Prw

the basic game mechanic is that you walk around on the board, trying to press square when on the circles. You're supposed to press square when the inner ring meets the outer ring. It's impossible to do this to every ring that appears, so the idea is that with most characters you can pick up a ring and hold it, then place it so it overlaps another ring. activating one will activate all other rings that touch it. Also, the order of the activated rings affects the melody of the song.

Has anybody here played Vib Ribbon? I recently had the urge to play it again so i downloaded the iso, but i couldn't get it to emulate properly. Awesome game though, highly recommended.

I know some VIPPERS out there play TF2 , is there a specific TF2 server of VIP quality that I should play on?

I play on the weeabootique when the other servers I play on are full/empty, but the shitty internet at college keeps me from playing as much as I'd like to. Hopefully I can get some more play time in during the holiday break.

Do VIPPERs like RTS?

83 Name: VIPPER : 2008-12-20 15:20 [Del]

>>82
RTS games challenge my brain. I would like to just build base defense, or just slaughter my enemies, but not both! I can't focus. I'm sure VIPPERs prefer games such as http://raptorsafari.com/play.php, which I'm having a lot of fun HITTING RAPTORS and DOING SICK STUNTS.

I guarantee you that it is. It is definitely worth the installation of that thing they require. The same developer also made http://blurst.com/jetpack-brontosaurus/play, which is a delight. "Discover the splendid jetpack dreams of the Apatasaurus named "Brontosaurus"." It is a joke, right? Look at the serene environments, the elegant yet thumping Brontosaurus, the quivers of smoke puffed out by his jetpack, the small helmet atop his tiny head. The hauntingly beautiful music. It's like, it is a joke, but at the same time, it isn't. It made me very happy.

87 Name: VIPPER : 2008-12-21 17:34 [Del]

So . . .
I just learned that what there is in beta is all of MegaTen ONLINE. Sure, there's demon collecting (but it needs REAL MONIEZ), some side-quests, you can make some cool weapons, kill some demons that only look different than demons from early game, and, yeah, "grind". Not to mention that the difficulty level was a disappointment. Defeating a boss on the first try is not something I would expect from my favourite series.
I think that I'll stick to the regular MegaTen games.

90 Name: VIPPER : 2008-12-27 00:02 [Del]

Age of Conan is the best MMORPG I've ever played! I get to relive the Hyborian age by having all the epic adventures of Conan and Red Sonya, with realistic fantasy combat like an action game, but online with a band of players who travel the land in search of loot and women, and although the rape sequences are censored, I'm hoping there will be a patch in the near future. Also, slaying the serpent emperor is epic in itself, I have never felt this good playing a game before, single player or otherwise. Remember in the movie where he grabs the snake head and rips it clean off? Yeah, it's better than that.

Every boss has a beautifully scripted action sequence, you think FFXI had some good cutscenes, goddamn this had some that made me cry. But you know what, the dynamic plot is great and all, hell I love eradicating an entire town of serpentmen just so the next group has nothing to do there but set up a few trading bazaars or set up a bandit camp, but honestly, the fun comes in just wandering. Wandering the desert and encountering completely random, batshit crazy enemies that are challenging, yeah, but they don't just kill you in one hit for being the wrong level. No, these things fight like they mean it, like you were watching 300 and controlling the goddamn action. You remember when one of the Spartans jumps and thrusts his spear in the guy's chest? That's got nothing on the combat system in this game.

They were right about the first twenty levels feeling like a single player game on its own. I would pay money just to play the single player portion on PS3. You know that Conan game they released on consoles? It's like an upgraded version, since they can refine the combat at any time with patches. So you're playing this game and then before you know it, fuck you're interacting with people all over the world who want to kick just as much ass as you do, like in the second movie where he picks up a random RPG party and starts kicking ass, and somehow they managed to get PVP right. I mean it's fun, actually fun, and you don't feel griefed just because someone comes out of hiding and attacks you. I don't know how they managed to balanced it, but it feels more like a fighting game with equal stats than a system that relies on level and stat differences.

Anyway, the name of the game speaks for itself- Age of Conan. What could be more badass?

LittleBigPlanet could use some VIP quality levels. There are a few decent levels on the online community and even a 2ch influence but I feel we could make some incredibly decent levels if we put some time into them. But then again I suppose there aren't many people with PS3s -AND- LBP. If you happen to have a PS3 you should really check/rent it out. It is the only game in the last few years to make me feel like a little unwrapping a SNES again on Christmas morning. P.S. I've been working on a Yume Nikki LBP level that will definately be of VIP quality!

I've been playing Etrian Odyssey 2 again. I finally beat the cocksucker of a first stratum boss. I don't remember the first game being this hard. Then again, EO1 had a level 70 cap, not a 99 one, so there's more grinding to be done. And then again, you can't abuse the hell out of Immunize and Defender because they aren't here this time around. And then again, my current party set-up is a little hard to work with because most of the characters are better suited for the back-row. It'd be nice if I could have one dude in the front and everyone else in the back. (My party is a Ronin, Troubadour, Gunner, Survivalist, and a Medic.) Any recommendations for what I should swap out will be appreciated. ('A` )

But it's a good thing they changed a lot of things, or else it would be like playing the same game all over again. But hey, this second stratum is looking pretty cool.

I'm playing it after finally beating the first one, and finding it to be quite the slog as well. Since a lot has changed, I don't know what characters/skills are the best, and it's difficult. Bumping the general gaming thread, because after a while you need to chill from dodging all the pink bullets.

I have been playing SMT:Devil Survivor on the DS obsessively for the last 3 days. It's like TWEWY:Megaten SRPG Edition, without emos.

For a series of games that is often so player-hostile and intentionally badly designed, I really like that they went in the opposite direction without being easy or lacking in minutiae to configure. Having absolutely no inventory or equipment, and letting you set up your team and skills after seeing the field and the full profile of your enemies - that's how all this kind of games should have been played all along. Now you stand a chance even without a strategy guide or crazy grinding.

Still wish they dropped the nameless silent protagonist. You make so frequently choices with only one option or two almost-identical options, it's as if you were speaking.

>>Still wish they dropped the nameless silent protagonist. You make so frequently choices with only one option or two almost-identical options, it's as if you were speaking.

The nameless silent protagonist is supposed to be the hero, ie. you.

I'm a huge fan of them. It's one of the reasons I like games like Dragon Quest, SMT or even having custom parties created from scratch in games like Final Fantasy Legend 1/2 or Etrian Odyssey.

But in DS, your starting party is comprised of two friends you've known for years, and another character is a cousin: everyone seems alive except you, your character seems like a dead puppet along for the ride.
They are already using the "multiple choices" boxes to force you to say things, often giving you only one option which you have no choice but select and confirm: what wrong would it do to allow the character to state the obvious and make small talk, while still letting you make the storyline choice?

Zangeki Reginleiv. Never mind that it's a M-rated game from Nintendo, that doesn't really matter. What does matter is that it's by the people who made EARTH DEFENSE FORCE, it has swords and it has online coop. EDF2017 would have been perfect if it had online co-op.

I've got to say that from what I heard of FF13 I have become so non-jaded and uncynical about it that I might possibly buy it.

Besides DS, I have been playing The Saboteur recently. It's like the guys at the top of the team wanted to do a great game and the rest of the team proceeded to do the most generic GTA clone ever, then after they fired that team EA dumped it into the stores without any advertising or support whatsoever.
I only mention that because I am already pissed off at what will be the result: "The public didn't reward innovation so we should stop doing WW2 single-player resistance GTAs and do WW2 FPS instead".

I feel similar about this pretentious David Cage self-aggrandizer, whose likeness was used to provide the tutorial of his previous movie, who claims that his upcoming QTE FMV non-game Heavy Rain should be taken as a yardstick to gauge the public's acceptance for "innovation".

Man do I hate current videogames. They only come in "innovative" and "murder simulator" flavors and both taste the same.

The beginning should have been the hardest part, but I didn't plan my stats right and had to do 3-2 an 5-1 (the two stages full of pitfalls) near the end. The high level I reached makes it less braggable than I hoped, but I was so scared after that to screw up the False King (my normal attacks were not strong enough for me to be confident so I ran away) that I powerleveled way too much, to improve my DEX so I could skip the fight by sniping him with white arrows.

> I would like to try a Hokuto no Ken run using Hands of Gods myself

You know what would be awesome for this game? Not an additional level, but a new roguelike mode. You'd travel the exact same levels, but when you create your character, the location of enemies and items would be entirely randomized and stay the same for the rest of that game. It might result in some almost unwinnable games, but that's the point. Anyway, I guess it's too late to hope for add-ons, unless it gets picked up for EU release.

186 Name: VIPPER : 2010-01-24 22:20 [Del]

>>183
It depends on how casual-friendly they make it. I actually enjoyed the difficulty level of FFXI, and to be honest I wouldn't mind if they made certain elements even harder. At this point in the game's life, the only two events that are still challenging are PW and AV, the latter of which is almost technically impossible, so it's not even attempted.

I'm a bit skeptical about XIV given SE's track record, and some of what's been said in the interviews on the game have me worried, but I have high hopes nonetheless. I just hope the game doesn't become as top-heavy as FFXI is. Practically everyone in the game has at least two 75 jobs these days, and trying to find groups to do anything other than the same old endgame events we've been doing for almost a decade now is almost impossible. RoTZ endgame was probably the biggest mistake SE ever made. The fact that some people have been doing Dynamis since the NA release and STILL haven't gotten the gear they want is just sad. At least they learned their lesson about that though.

http://minecraft.net/play.jsp?server=6ccc64b13e9285bc327822f883a20e61

Unfortunately it's running on a server currently located at my mother's house, and her internet randomly dies now and then. It usually comes back after about 5-10 minutes.

I was so excited when the full version came out, and it's definitely a great idea and very fun, but I unlocked everything and beat all the modes the next day and haven't really played it since - it doesn't seem like playing for score is much fun.

That said it's totally VIP and belongs in this thread.

I know someone who's currently developing a infiniminer/minecraft style game in scheme, it's very VIP so far and will let users make their own stuff(blocks, gametypes, equipment, enemies, maybe vehicles).

Can't wait for it to get to a releasable state so I can show my fellow VIPPERs how cool it is.

214 Name: VIPPER : 2010-04-05 19:38 [Del]

I thought I'd share some classic VIPness with everyone. It's a game I played years ago called Super Robot Wars Alpha.(Clip of battle animations here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jEWM5jfqkdE) It's all about tactical turn-based robot fighting action. It includes mechs from several popular mech animes. To top it all off, there are some pretty complete translations that can be found with quick Google searches and applied easily if one has the know-how.

Etrian Odyssey III came out in Japan on the 1st of April, I'm really looking forward to a translation.

There are a lot of neat looking new character classes, they can be found here;

Could a Vipper please translate the Farmers text for me? This class intrigues me.

218 Name: VIPPER : 2010-04-18 15:05 [Del]

>>217

"They are peasants who look out on the sea of trees, dreaming of great riches. Able to learn various skills for walking through the forest and collecting raw materials, they are experts of forest investigation. In battle, they use auxiliary skills to disturb the enemy.

Example Skill

Nature's Blessing
A skill exclusive to the farmer that increases the acquired experience points of all party members if the farmer is alive when the battle ends.

Two Crops a Year
A skill that restores the execution count of chopping, mining, and taking.

Loitering
A skill where the farmer begins to kill time, causing an hour to pass."

Etrian Odyssey III is a load of fun, I got it the Monday after it was released. I'm actually using a farmer in my party, and while I was a little disappointed with his battle abilities at first, but the option to subclass later in the game allowed me to keep all of the field benefits he gives while gaining offensive skills from another class.

Currently enjoying Resonance of Fate, a JRPG about killing the christian god, guns, and street fashion. I enjoy playing dress-up with the pretty boys. Stop making me sexually confused Tri-Ace.
(Also, something like a third of the unlockable clothes I saw were ROF merchandise... that's pretty dumb, even if the devs most likely had no say in the matter. What sort of asshole walks around wearing a shirt with an effigy of themself?)

Tri-Ace really are at their best when they don't bother telling you what the hell is going on.

241 Name: VIPPER : 2010-06-06 17:34 [Del]

I can't stop playing ranked games in Super Street Fighter IV. Playing ranked matches isn't as fun as the Championship mode in Vanilla SF4, but it's so damn addictive. Two or three hours goes by like nothing if I'm on a good streak. (゜Д゜;)

246 Name: VIPPER : 2010-06-09 02:13 [Del]

Fragile Dreams - Farewell Ruins of the Moon wasn't bad, but it was a tad on the easy side. The environments are beautiful - it seems like every wall is covered in amazing drawings and graffiti. If you are in the mood for a more relaxed game then it's a good choice.

I've been playing Strange Journey - I'm kind of dissappointed, because some of the monsters look really bad, like they were scaled down really poorly. The thing is, it will show a close up image when you fight a boss and the drawings are amazingly detailed. It makes me wish they would make a game on an HD console with some nice hi-res, hand drawn graphics. Also, the game is pretty easy so far and I was hoping for something epicly hard and long. Now I want to try Dark Spire, Etrian Odyssey, and Infinite Space, but I can't decide. I can only get one for a long vacation I'm going on - can any vippers recommend one over the others?

I ended up restarting on DOS, because BRD is comprised entirely of morons. Part of the problem is that, as it appears some of the translation staff are from the 4th circle of hell, the game was pretty heavily promoted there. So, I'm 6 chapters into Trinity Universe. I like it, but it's half VN dialogue, really silly dialogue, the characters are all bordering on insane; and I sometimes forget that it's supposed to be an RPG. The game part is fairly easy except for these black cloud bakemono that'll swat you down like a gnat.

If you like wacky VN stuff get it. The RPG elements are OK but the best thing I can say so far is that I don't feel the need to go grinding.

Sorry, but this games is too ugly for me. I like retro graphics, but I'm not very nostalgic about the amateurish 90's shareware aesthetics. (And the snake in classic mode being negligently drawn smaller and interpolated is just as offensive as the tile set made of royalty-free textures)

That post is gonna sound way too angry, sorry! But the recent wave of botched retro remakes really annoys me.

I am currently obsessed with Umihara Kawase Shun DS. I picked it up a while ago when somebody mentioned it on SAoVP, but gave up because it was so difficult. I recently got into it, after getting skilled enough to clear some more stages. The learning curve for the controls is never ending.

I'm partially obsessed with unlocking the illustrations. I couldn't find the illustrations online, so I'm filled with a burning need to collect them all. I'm not sure if I'll ever get the illustration for clearing every single door. Some of the difficult-to-reach exits require frustratingly exact maneuvers. I will often have to spend hours trying to clear just one small level, often having to refer to video walkthroughs.

The worst thing is that I have huge hands and a tiny DS, so my hands and fingers cramp up like crazy. This game leaves me in great physical pain, and eats away hours upon hours of my life, yet I keep playing. In short, I highly recommend it.

The story is a lot better paced than the first two games. Not as dry and more to the point. The puzzles were about as easy as the second game, maybe a touch easier. I didn't find myself stumped too often, though some of the hidden puzzles can be nasty. This game introduces the SUPER HINT feature, where after you buy the first three hints, you can spend 2 coins and get a SUPER HINT which practically tells you the answer. The soundtrack is downright gorgeous like the other games, if not a notch better.

All in all, this game really makes me want to play the 4th game and the 3DS one like right now.

Today I am going to tell you a true story about Minecraft Survival Multiplayer, a tale of love, cubes of dirt, and bittersweet revenge.

Today I went to a random public server, and was informed upon arrival that it was only a temporary map, since the server mods had yet to be updated. As a result, it was a free-for-all server. I walked out a bit and began to build. Then I was killed. I walked out somewhere else, and got a little further. I was killed again. I repeated this two more times, until frustration got the better of me. I knew what I had to do. I had to get revenge on the virtual society that continued to strike me down.

I walked in one direction for miles, never letting go of the 'w' key. I didn't look back. I passed over countless atolls, crossed countless mountains, and swam through oceans and seas. Finally, when I felt I had walked long enough so that no other player could find me, I began to dig.

I mined and mined until my arms could mine no more. Just as I was about to give up my quest for revenge, I stumbled upon diamond. Beautiful, gorgeous diamond. Making copious use of the item duplication glitch, I crafted myself diamond swords and full diamond armor. I collected everything I needed, and then I was ready. I typed /home.

Upon my return to spawn, I went on a quest to kill any and every person upon whom I stumbled. I watched other bandits burn down people's houses, and then killed the bandits myself. People began to accuse me of griefing and hacking, but my misanthropy was undisturbed. I felt that this was a task granted to me by the devil himself.

Then, I found him. That beautiful, innocent lumberjack. He was innocently whacking a tree, trying to collect wood and saplings. With a few slices of my diamond blade, I smote him without pause. But as soon as the life had slipped out of him, I immediately felt a twinge of regret. "I just wanted to plant all my saplings! ;-;" he cried. My heart twisted at his words. Why was I, a cold-blooded killer, now feeling pity for this worthless peon? I hated to admit it, but it was love.

When he returned, I gave him a rose. I gave him a diamond sword. I gave him every sapling I owned. He thanked me and left, but did not return my love. A dejected count of Monte Cristo, I moped in my cave, finally coming to terms with the deep isolation inherent in revenge. It was too late, I could not win his love.

I walked aimlessly for a while, killing people along the way, but the initial energy in my ruthless murders was gone. It was then that I stumbled upon a couple, far far away from the spawn. As I came closer, I saw the two names: my love, and another man who I will only call R. My blood bubbled with rage. This was too much! I couldn't take it! I calmed myself however, and got out a loaf of bread that I had been saving, intending to offer it as a gift. Perhaps if I could make peace with these two men, I could learn to stifle the need for revenge in my heart. I was ready to turn over a new leaf. I happily crossed the wooden bridge to their humble little hut, and threw my loaf of bread upon the ground.

Then without warning, R pulled out a diamond sword and began attacking me! I screamed in pain, quickly took back my loaf of bread, and ran away. How could this happen? Was there no such thing as good-natured people in this world? My love only stood and laughed as I fled the scene, eating my bread to stay alive. When I had escaped the scene, R retreated, but it was too late for me to leave him alone anymore. I turned back around and set fire to his wooden bridge. I relentlessly began whacking him with my own diamond sword, every last bit of humanity escaping with every blow. It was a bloody, dishonorable battle.

Then, an explosion of tools and items. He had died! Victory! 'But wait,' I thought, 'those look like my tools and items!' And indeed they were. R, who was still alive and moving, picked them up, the glorious victor. I slowly realized: it was not he who had died, but I. Why then, had I not returned to spawn? Why did I still have half a blinking heart left? Why could I still walk and jump like a living being?

Then I realized that although I could move, nobody could see me. I walked right through my love and that bastard R without them noticing. I could not pick up items or take damage. I was a ghost. A minecraft ghost, left to invisibly wander the lonely lands of this public server in search of revenge, never again to find love or happiness. I tested my ghostly powers on one unsuspecting fool who was passing by. I found that my ghostly diamond sword still had the power to strike people down. Although he could not see me, I could still kill him. Whatever minecraft gods or devils there may be, they had seen the need for revenge in my heart, and in an ironic twist given me the ultimate revenge body.

I knew what I had to do. I hunted down R. I stalked him as he walked around, gloating to others, "I got full diamond armor from some hacker I killed." Little did he know what fate lay in store for him. I began to enact my ghostly rage upon his naive neck, striking him as he walked. "Wtf," he typed, "why am I taking damage?" As much as he struggled to escape his invisible pursuer, he could not escape. My fury knew no end. Though breaking through his diamond armor was a long and arduous task, he could not fight back. My poisonous hatred slowly cut away at his armor little by little, no matter where he wandered.

Finally, I cut away the last of his armor. "wtf" he typed again, his mind clouded with confusion. In desperation, he leaped into the ocean, but minecraft ghosts can swim too. He scrambled onto a lonely island, his last retreat. He could have pleaded with me all he wanted, and I would not have held my blade. With one last swipe, I removed his head, and all my old items came spilling out of his deceased body and spilled onto the ocean floor. My revenge was done.

I returned to spawn and continued to haunt that cursed server, killing every unsuspecting miner upon which I stumbled. They could not see or harm me. I was the ultimate mob. But as a ghost, I would never again be able to feel true love.

It is the case, yes, but given that this has been negotiated right from the start (instead of long after Euroland has given hope in the case of NB publishing the 1st game) I find it reasonable to expect a publisher known to sell level-ups to have no difficulties in strong-arming From Software to do this sort of bullshit. And having publisher for the rest of the world, they probably won't be allowed to have an English translation in the Asian version.

Not really. Not afraid to look up a few kanjis but I wouldn't be able to handle this. Thanks for the recommendation anyway!
