It is an auspicious day today out here in VIPcouver where the 2010 Winter VIPLYMPICS are about to be underway! Today we have one competition: The Alpine Boon!
In this competition teams will compete to see who can boon down this gigantic snowy hill the fastest. It is very steep out there!
The 2010 Winter VIPLYMPICS is a rare spectacle in that any number of teams may compete independently throughout the day right here in this thread! The winner will be decided at the end of the day by time or by the judge's scoring (depending on the competition).

The first team making a shot for a VIP medal is team VIP-VIPPER. Let's see how they do!
It seems they are using the swish swish BOON technique allowing them to gain very high speeds! They are whipping right down that course! But will they still be able to avoid the land mines towards the end of the course?!

It seems like Team SHOBON is going to try a more traditional booning method, starting slow and gradually going faster, probably deciding to finally slow down again at the end! And he has made it past the 1/2 mark. W-Wait! What's this!? Some creature is chasing him at great speeds right out of view of the camera! He's trying to escape it!
Shobon 2 of Team SHOBON is going as fast as he can but he just can't escape what seems to be a yeti! Oh my god, he's catching up! It's too late for Shobon 2 now! Folks we can't show this on TV! This is horrible! He has completely devoured Shobon 2 and has scurried off! We can't show this on TV but here is a rough sketch:
