My friends secretly got a new flat and left me here.
I think they are jealous of me being able to pay Daddy Cool enough. I wish my mother wouldn't call me under the guise of wondering how I'm doing, if I'm eating well and how school seems to be going when all she really wants to know is if I've heard from my brother since he shut out his friends and family from his life. (I thought he had killed himself for a small period of time.) I also wish my mother wouldn't call me at all. There is a reason why I haven't been home since graduating from high school. And there is a reason why my brother is irreversibly fucked up. I'm just thankful that I'm at least functional. I wonder if the fruits of their parenting keep them up at night. I honestly don't want them to be haunted by it (because they aren't bad people, just bad parents). I'm just wondering how they feel about knowing that their children do not want them in their lives.

When I came home a woman was stealing part of the giant plant in the garden. I allowed her to continue because it's not my plant and the woman upstairs is never actually here, and because she said she needed it and I was amused by imagining what she could possibly need it for.
Then I went out again a few minutes later and she was still struggling to break off the bit she needed so I fetched a knife and helped her out, for which she thanked me profusely.
I'm not sure whether helping someone steal something from my garden was a good deed or not.
Not to sound unsympathetic and mean, but if you ever do end up with kids, please, please, please don't treat them they your parents treated you. Too many people I know have had bad parents, sworn never to have kids, ended up with kids anyways... and then act exactly like their parents, creating a ever ending cycle.

My life was full of choices about getting up, until I got four alarm clocks and put them around my room. Now, to turn them all off, I have to do a tour on my room, effectively making going to bed after that pointless.
I wake up to the manly sound of HEATS by Kageyama Hironobu (or more accurately to my phone vibrating on a load of noisy crap and sometimes falling on my face, but the song is there along with it), which gets my day off to a hotblooded start and ensures I don't spend any time lying around in bed.

I have a problem, VIPPERs.
I'm on my second year of CS, and after a two-week checkout, I realised that EE is where I want to be. There are two levels of studies here, the first is three years (Bachelor's degree), and the second is two (Master's degree). Since I'm not compelled to get a job as soon as possible, I've been thinking about getting a bachelor's degree in CS, and then doing the five years at EE. I'd like to move as soon as this semester ends, but I'm bad at being social, and my long-time friend is staying at CS. On the other hand, I think I would feel awkward when I'll be 24 and be there with all those 19-year-old EE freshmen instead of finding a job. Not that I care about finding a job, but people would look at me in a creepy way. It would also feel weird when my friends graduate and move on, and I'll be stuck for three more years, alone.

The MSX one. It will give you a fighting chance to understand what the fuck is happening once the series goes all lolkojima.
Metal Gear Solid. You can read about MG1 and MG2: SS ingame, and few references are made to the games that aren't explained in the game (stuff llike who "Big Boss" is)
Overall, MGS's age does show a little, but once you beat it, you can move onto the more modern titles in the series.

It was odd. I don't remember how the stand users looked too much. I remember some stands though. One man had a son (who hadn't has his stand activated yet), and the man could control these ants to bite and cut and swarm from long distances. There was a friend I know in the dream and his stand looked like a small gorilla in drag. I didn't get to see its ability in my dream. The first dream had a bad dude whose stand was a mist or cloud, so it could blend in with the sky or steam for surprise attacks and ate away anything it touched. At one point a guy looked up into the sky only to have what looked like an innocent cloud descend upon him and kill him.
The second one was a bit more odd; it was an odd take on Part 6. Jolyne Kujo went to jail as usual, but it was in New York and the jail was relatively low security except that the cells had increased gravity, like that one episode of Outlaw Star. So she breaks out and goes into hiding (standless) and comes across a run-down shack to rest in. A burly old man with a cybernetic eye lives there and gives Jolyne what I believe was a Feng Shui Engine (What Juri has in SSFIV), so it may not have even been Jolyne. Then later that night the man comes back drunk and deranged talking about brutally slaughtering some Jews that night. Jolyne panics, the man thinks she's a JEW, and off she runs to the sewers where the rest of the dream was spent in hiding.

I think this has been asked before, but how are VIPPERS feeling about this year ending?
2009, and to a lesser extent the last half of 2008, has been kind of a weird year for me. A lot of really bad things happened(My dog died, the family car went caput, I've done horribly in school so far, etc.), but at the same time my day to day life and the "small things" have really good, and, I donno, 2009 seemed like a happy, exciting year to me. So overall I'll be sad to see it go.
I dislike it, because it's a reason to celebrate, and people will be happy, and I will not be happy. I will be grumpy all the time and will probably punch someone in the face, just like last year.
As for the year itself, it was another year in which I have achieved absolute success in every area (education, job, money, health, ...) except for interpersonal relationships, where I've been mourning my losses all year, completely offsetting my other victories.
I'll be fucking glad. '09 wasn't very nice to me.
2009 was awesome, but I like to look forward to the future. 2010 will mark my starting actual media art curriculum at college, new opportunities, etc.
