I am having some VIP pie. Care for a slice?
Do you ever wonder what these posts contained when you missed them? As far as I know, VIPPER had posted the secrets of the universe into this very thread, and later decided to delete them. And I missed it.
My shampoo has gone bad and stinks like a spoiled orange juice. I didn't know that was even possible.
>>37
I used to feel the same way, but these days I have great trust VIPPER's judgment, so I am content knowing they must have had a good reason for deleting their post.

FRAY FRAY ADORENA ESCARATION
I'm sorry, it's me again. I noticed that the street I live at looks beautiful at night, so I decided to take more amateurish photos. I risked my life going out at 3AM but the pictures I took were worth it. The good thing was that I could hear any car that was passing by forty seconds before it actually passed by.

I took some photos of the alley where the yellow sign is pointing, but that place was way too eerie for me to keep it together and the pictures turned out shaky.
If there are more VIPPERs that can appreciate the beauty of the inanimate world, perhaps one could set up a thread in SAoVP.
Where I live, they are in the process of removing all those orange lights to replace them with white lights that are supposed to feel more natural.
I will miss the orange world.

Interesting idea, I'd take part if the thread is made. Wonderful pictures, VIPPER.

I made a thread. Post away!

Bumping from PSP
You know what's the biggest bullshit in JRPGs? Money-stealing attacks on the enemies. Now I can understand the slight tactical relevance of destroying my equipment, but taking my golds serves absolutely no purpose besides making me mad. I remember seeing those assholes in some Persona game, and now a demon took half of my money is Strange Journey.
Hi, I am looking for a cool DJ to play Sandstorm at my party (you know, the one by Darude?). Please call me if you fit this description!
Y'know, if one was to play a 3-hour set of nothing but Sandstorm, even poser mainstream failures could get sick of it eventually.
>negotiate with a demon
>give him lots of money
>decides to take off instead of joining the party
so many times
>negotiate with a demon
>ask him to play Sandstorm (you know, the one by Darude)
>calls you a cunt
so many times

The terminology is quite Elitist. Could the Superstructure be creeping in?
I don't know a lot about electronic music but I just now realised what song Sandstorm is and I'm pretty sure I understand why VIPPER has been raging about it so much.
What is your favorite part of Sandstorm? Mine is the part that's like ERRERRERRERRRRRERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRERRRRRRRRERRRRRRRREEEEEEEE
>>62
The Elitist Superstructure does not exist. Please refrain from claiming otherwise.
Hello this is my first time visiting. I plan on improving my life with the VIPPER community.
I am almost a mirror image of myself and my post.
I'm posting a post on the Secret Area BBS.
I actually don't mind Sandstorm.
I've not heard it that much though.
This is coming from someone who usually hates trance, too.
>>70
It's just an effortless clone of the happy parts of much better music, that got way overplayed, shitting over most of the heritage of the genre to serve radio-friendly anthems without any buildup.
That's what makes the "let's make underground shit palatable to kids" genre reviled, they are pretty good songs until you understand why they are so horrible.
>I actually don't mind Sandstorm.
>This is coming from someone who usually hates trance
Hmmmm...
>>72
You are mean, I don't even have a last.fm ;_;
It's not as much about some hits being bad than about all the good stuff people will never get to hear.
>>75
Believe it or not, it started out that way. Likewise, hip-hop used to autobiographical and rock'n'roll used to be rebellious.
Sorry VIPPERs, but I really can't stand people who are uppity about music. Who cares? Does it really matter? Music is continually changing and the average person will always not be far enough ahead to be into the "next big thing." Why do you even want people to like your music anyways? When they start getting into it you're just going to call them "posers" or some equally idiotic term for the first five years of their fandom. And internet/other subcultures are different because they actually transcend a singular topic, and also require the participants to act in a certain way in order for it to function.
What culture is there around music? A bunch of people who happen to like the same sounds? "Oh man I love this song!" "Yeah me too!" "Remember that other song?" "Oh that song was great" It doesn't mean you have anything in common. Yeah I love ice cream, but I don't walk around Ben and Jerrys talking to other ice cream enthusiasts about how ice cream just isn't the "same anymore" and how the kids buying vanilla are idiots.
Sandstorm is so fucking old but it has a soft spot in my heart ;_;
>>77
I think you read too much into this little debate-especially the part about culture. Not wanting to have a sort of sound you enjoy defined by bad ambassadors isn't that weird.
>>79
A song that goes tu-tu-tu-tu-tu, tu-tu-tu-tu-tu, tu-tu-tu-tu-tu tu-tu-tu-tu-tu tu-tu-tu-tu-tu, tu-tu-tu-tu-tu tu-tu-tu-tu-tu tu-tu-tu-tu-tu woosh tu-tu-tu-tu-tu tu-tu-tu-tu-tu tu-tu-tu-tu-tu then repeats.
Did you hear that new Hüsker Dü song!
Any VIPPERs going to Acen? If so let's boon!
Any VIPPERs going to DEMF/Movement? If so, let's boon!
>>83 Lucky...I want to go because of Hardcore Synergy.
Bu-n for me while all those great DJs are playing, VIPPER.
I don't know what to write...
>>77
Replace "music" in that post with "HARUHI SUZUMIYA" and you'll realize how ridiculous you sound.
I don't feel like doing anything.
More VIP less music
>>87
Westernizing the Goddess's name, of course you sound ridiculous.
I VIP twice a day.
Let's VIP!
>>97
"Don't think, feel"
Now sit under a fig tree and repeat that as many times as there are grains of sand on earth. Then you will achieve VIP.
I'm doing an experiment.

LEAD US TO THAT SECRET AREA
Holy crap, I'm gone for a week, and there's a new thread, AND we're already 100 posts into it?!
According to my calculations, you were gone for two weeks.
My stars, I haven't been here since Dec 2007. What did I miss?

I'd imagine catching up on tanasinn.info would be a good idea.

I remember seeing the first one of these threads and thinking, "This is a great idea!"
I've only been on SAoVQ for about 4 of these threads.
I've been here for every one.
I've been here since the second one...Might aswell just skin through the first as some sort of VIPPER education.
I've been here since the first one, but I still can't believe it. I mean, this feels like the third thread, not the eight.
I've been here for all nine of these threads.
sometimes, when there is only chat threads on the front page, i go into the archives and sage threads. it makes me feel better.

Going home from college today...even though I did not meet any VIPPERs while here, I could sense that college life has much more VIP QUALITY than at home. I'll have to cope by going to SaoVQ more.
Whenever I come here, there is one thing that I can be sure of, and that is that VIPPERs here won't leave out the apostrophes in their "let's"s and "it's"s. It's a nice feeling.
I just got my Pioneer Monitor-10s in the mail from eBay. They sound just as good as I always thought they would.
I know there are some audiophile VIPPERs out there.
>>128
Semi-audiophile VIPPER here. I would like a pair of monitors but payinghim enough makes it difficult, y'know?
To test out your monitors you should play Sandstorm. You know, the one by Darude?
Oh, wait. Now I'm confused. Are monitors the same as headphones? I thought monitors were high quality speakers. Fuck.
