Didn't we have such thread? Or was it at 4-ch? Or world4ch?
>>388
That's 4-ch. I think. Someone please make it as I am too shy and inexperienced in Japanese learning. w
>>389
I will, as soon I'm done with real-life (oh no!). Which will be about a week.
I keep telling to myself think that if your objective is to be able to read stuff aided with references, and to communicate in speech or through computers, then learning Japanese stops being some sort of "lifetime achievement" and becomes no more menacing than English or Spanish. I think remembering kanjis and being able to handwrite them is not that important when you're not learning a language for business or to live a long time in that country. Maybe that's just a convenient lie I need so that someday I'll finally stop consider learning it and just get fucking started.
There's that girl I've never seen, but we've been e-mailing each other for over a year. Would going with her to Japan would be a bad idea?
>>392
Possibly. More details as to what she is like, what she looks like, etc.
>>392
Well, if things don't go right with her, you could always bail out on her and still have fun in the country.

>>393
I have seen (what she claims to be) her photos. She's kawaii. But she's only a friend, nothing more.
She's the same age as I am, she has the same problems, etc.; save some minor details (like planning her life too much ahead and holding on to some silly traditions too tightly), she could be considered VIP QUALITY.
>>398
I don't get it when people say "she's only a friend". If there's a boy and a girl of similar age, with similar interests, ability to have conversations over a long time, and the boy even admits the girl is cute, why not go for her? Is the boy ashamed? Is there something bad about her that he doesn't want to admit? If not, what's wrong? There's nothing wrong with professing feelings for someone or something. There IS something wrong with repressing those urges, though.

>>400
Maybe he's so afraid of being alone that the moment he confesses, it'll ruin everything. Or that's how I'd feel in that situation.
>>400
I'm ugly, also, I have never thought of anything more than a friend, also, she lives 500km away from me and it wouldn't work.
>>404
I wish I was a girl so I could marry you and take care of you. This may sound odd but I'm sort of serious.
>>400
For a moment I read "professional interest" and my mind was blown into smithereens.
>>400
I have a good friend, whom of which is girl, also of whom has more in common with me than with her current boyfriend. However, I would not initiate a relationship with her, or any other girl for that matter, simply because it would be a burden to have one. Thus I am content with not forcing myself on her for some stupid reason, such as loneliness and desperation. I VIP alone.
I feel bad. Bad.
The power is dead. I have 22 minutes left. I love you all, VIPPERS.
I can feel it fleeting. Do not leave me, electricity!
I think that is how the death-row inmates feel. Then end is nigh and you can do nothing about this.
Make sure to erect me a VIP QUALITY tombstone. Make it say something about being deprived of Internet.
20:39 I am going haywire. My laptop is going haywire with me. I shut down all the non-vital processes to save the power.
>>407
I used to think that way. And I was certain I would die alone, but then my significant other pursued me until I finally gave in. However, our relationship is difficult. I moved away so we don't get to see each other very often. I'm pretty needy-and so is he, so the time commitment is pretty huge. But despite all of that, I think it's worth it-even if he eventually finds someone else who is more VIP QUALITY than I am.
>>413
Do not go gentle into that good night,
VIPPERS should burn and rave at close of day;
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.
>>416
Well I can certainly vouch for the homosexual bit~

Hey I'm going to stay up all night so I won't miss class tommorow!
9am start. 7am bus to catch. God damn.
I kind of want to stay up later but I'm tired and I should get up early tomorrow so I think I'll just go to bed.
I have had since 6 PM to do my studies. Now it's 10, I don't know anything about my topic, and I'm tired.
My lover and I are staying up all night working on homework. I have yet to start and it's 3AM!
I stayed up too late and I just woke up, three hours before my train leaves, and now I don't have time to download and watch House MD. Sometimes I'm just that clever.
I met a girl today and I'm helping her with calculus. She's pretty proficient and cute.
Call me a Cowboy Bebop-influenced deadbeat-otaku-chink, but I REALLY want to know what true sadness is. I've spent my whole life gliding on this sort of intellectual apathy and it's really quite boring.
You want to know how the birthday party went? Well do you?
I am unable to clip my toenails without bloodshed. Am I alone here?
>>434
Then don't clip them! The pink part of the nail is still alive and should NOT be cut. Wait until you have an excess of white nail that can be cut easily. No one should cut their toenails and bleed.
The secret area has its secret ways.
CHRIST, OK

Its about what you expect when you get a bunch of awkward weeaboos together.
>>448
If you'd like, you could have gone. Help yourself to the cream-cheese-and-ham rolls and purple soda. Robert-chan brought Pocky from Rite-Aid on his way here, too.
God im so hungry.
>>451
I know what you mean. I just ate an egg sandwich even though I should be trying to lose weight. GODDAMNIT
I had a discussion with my friend yesterday. There's that company that makes (delicious) fruit drinks, and under the cap of every bottle is a one-liner; most often a joke, a humorous pick-up line, or a pun. My friend argues that such thing would never pass in a "normal" country (as opposed to Eastern Europe where I live), because it's pointless -- you pop your bottle, read the line, probably smile, and trash the cap. I don't think so, it seems to me like a normal thing to do, because it's just too "cool" and does no harm to anyone.
So, VIPPERS, are there funnies under the caps of bottles where you live?
>>453 There are at least two brands of beer that have rebus puzzles under the cap. If you're truly VIP quality you can still figure out the puzzles after attaining the desired state of inebriation.
>>454 There are also horrible jokes on popsicle sticks, and amusing factoids under Snapple caps.
>>453
In France, there's a brand of candy named "Carambar", that started printing terrible jokes inside the wrapping in the 70's. The jokes are so horribly bad that "blague carambar" is a popular French expression to say "unfunny joke". They're still doing it, because kids really look forward to just how lame the jokes can get. They'd probably lose tons of money if they started printing real wit instead.
>>453
Laffy Taffy has horrible jokes on their wrappers. Most are on the same level as popsicle stick jokes, and sometimes they're cut off.
>>453
There's this cheap beer that prints stupid shit under the cap. I think Jones soda does it as well.
I got an :* under my cap today.
My idea for today:
Plumberjack
(About the party and K, give me some more time to report my progress, I'm in the middle of something and I'd like to conclude it first.).
>>453
There are cigarette papers here that have brain teasers on the back. You open the packet to find the answer.
I was talking to a REAL JAPANESE PERSON on the internet and they actually typed "Reary?". I wwww'd
>>463
Me and a friend were talking with people in the Japanese MGO. They're were saying stuff "Gaijin?" "Why in Japanese?" "DO YOU ><"
>>463 There was a board on wakachan where 2chanel and wakachan posters could discuss whatever they wanted.
I didn't work so well since only a few of the Japanese posters could understand English and vice versa...

Can this girl be our idol?
>>471
She seems rather generic. You'll have to payenough to get some of us to care.
>>471
If we want a dancing idol it should definitely be 47:

EARLY EARLY MONDAY VIPPING
Early Monday vipping before PE and physics lab. Whoever crafted the new schedule must have been mentally challenged.
Noontime Monday vipping before going to the library to attempt an assignment.
Incoming boring two hour physics lab!
>>478
Why are you me.
Or do you mean that I'm not the only one who has two hours of boring physics labs Monday evening?
eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
Early night British VIPPING.
>>479
I also have two hours of physics labs. They are supposed to help us learn but in reality it's just a really shitty way of getting away with not teaching us and then blaming us for not understanding. CIRCUITS ARE EASY WE DON'T NEED TO MAKE IT AND DO A BUNCH OF CONVOLUTED TESTS TO UNDERSTAND.
I got drafted last in the physics lab. Actually, I didn't get drafted at all, because there was an odd number of people and I am alone in my team. At first I was like "hey, I gonna write reports myself", but then we got informed that both squad members have to write a report each, and these two reports have to form an integral, uh, integrity. Once again, nobody will try to screw up what I am doing and once again will my records be the best ever, just like three years ago. Excelsior.
GOOD NIGHT SAoVQ
