I remember watching this documentary about a group of boys from rural farms in China who traveled to the city to look for jobs. Their parents house had little to no furniture, maybe a chair or a dresser, and few threadbare blankets and cloths, and they frequently went hungry, and things in the city weren't a whole lot better. The most amazing thing is that all of them had cell phones and spent their free time texting. It was mind blowing to see these guys squatting on a dirt floor next to their sick mother and starving brother with a cellphone in hand.

I do not live in Magical USA where you can buy ramen dirt cheap. In fascist Britain you can buy instant noodles for 12p admittedly, but where I live is 10 miles away from any decent supermarkets. Plus instant noodles don't fill me up at all unless I eat 2 or 3 packets worth in one go. The packets are tiny, mind you.

We have that little thing called Introduction to Programming (IP). Seeing that many people came to our university already knowing the things that would be taught there, there's an exam you can take, and if you succeed, you pass IP with perfect grade (and have free Wednesday, seeing that it was the only thing on that day). If you fail the exam, you fail IP, you lose your honour and your firm position in the university (I mean, you fail anything else = bye bye). Of course, I don't know the littlest bit of C. Of course, I will be taking that exam in three days. So now I have three days to learn C.
I like these little challenges I impose upon myself in my life.

There was that one game, I've seen it about 5-6 years ago. It was a simple MMO, based on the LEGO bricks, not an official LEGO product; I remember one map, it was a bedroom (your character was of the lego-man size); there were some simple tools in the game, of which I remember only the hammer and some kind of a beam to move the bricks. Anyone has any idea what I'm talking about? That game was my childhood.
I did some digging, and it turns out that it was four to five years ago.
