And in the night, a lower- or middle-caste member may sneak up to one of the sleeping higher-casters and touch him with a toilet brush to assimilate him to his lower caste. wwwww
I guess i must post
I guess I won't be able to read it then.
>>512 was me saying the opposite by accident.
>>510
I would like for you to go into more detail. This might be helpful.
bumo
I let everybody down.
Are any other VIPPERs dissatisfied with their work, whatever their work may be? What can I do about it?
>>519
Will you come into my kitchen tonight and make a mess of my pots and pans?
I was compelled to post in this thread. So I did.
>>515
Okay; keep in mind that I can go over just the basics, as a lot of survival is based on vocabulary. Also, this might apply only to eastern European prisons.
There are three castes; the highest ('people'), a caste based on twisted form of honour and friendship; the middle caste ('suckers', 'nonpeople'), where there are really no rules, and it's them when you see the prison films; and the lowest caste ('bitches', also 'nonpeople'). Only policemen, politicians, etc. and their relatives are bitches by default. Oh, and also brutal rapists and paedophiles.
Unless noted otherwise, the tips apply only to 'people'.
That's all I can get off the top of my head.
Is stopping time (along with the "toki o tomare") and placing knives in mid-air a common technique in Japanese entertainment media? I would hate to label something as a reference to JoJo, when it's something common and seen in many animu/games, etc.
I really wish jstor had a random article button.
I wish I didn't have to sit at my desk at work and pretend to do work because I've finished everything for that day/week. I also wish I knew how to set the margins on my typewriter.
>>524
Do you know about TED? If you don't, google it and it's the first hit.
``It is time to take out the crook's toolbox'' - said VIPPER and proceeded to farm experience points using a simple rubber band and an endless stream of Medusa Heads.
Have any of my fellow VIPPERS ever had lutefisk? I am of Norwegian heritage, but I don't feel very Norwegian because I've never had lutefisk.
>>531
Norwegians don't eat that shit. Only 'murricans of Norwegian (and sometimes Swedish, if I recall) heritage.
My family is back. These two weeks have passed by surprisingly quickly.
Sometimes I get sad and I can't stop it.
>>536
Just think of you're fellow VIPPERS.
We care for your well-being.
>>537
If I were you, I'd take care of my (your? ) spelling first. This post is an eyesore, please remove it.
Nothing fills me with rage like the ct ligature. Thank god it doesn't exist in Unicode.
Oh damn, it's back.
I have a question to the residents of the Glorious Land of Freedom, a.k.a. USA;
How much, on average, do these items cost:
?
Your help is appreciated and will be used to settle my curiosity and unease.
I'm posting without my usual name.
Wakka wakka chikka chikka
Today is a sad day. I'm going back to my home for four days, then I'm leaving again.
I'm going to register a domain. What's a name that's VIP Quality, yet will not lead here when googled?

There's still thirty seconds to mid-night. I'll wait here.
It is now 33 minutes past midnight. Damn.
I'm back home. There is nobody here any more. Both house-mates are gone, one never to come back. The landlords have gone to Mexico. Even my too serious neighbour has gone. A week completely alone. I never thought that it was going to be pleasant, but this is scarier than I thought.
Afternoon bump
I'll... I'll just go and eat some pancakes.
Does VIPPER know an internet shop similar to playasia, where I can get Japanese NDS games?
>>559
Why not just pirate them? It is much less hassle, and easier on your wallet.
Someone is here, in this house where I dwell alone. A voice I do not recognise.
>>563
The voice was gone after ten minutes. I still don't know who it was.
I stopped bumping this thread, but I guess I will start doing so again.
H-hello...
I missed the 512GET.
>>561
Just warez them, you object-worshipper. There's absolutely no chance of bricking with the R4 -- it's just a passcard combined with a load-time linker and a MicroSD interface.
You,shit man,is in here.
I am fighting the world of shit.
And a person who says"troll" stay here.
Be in s three-cornered deadlock?
My Internet home is being raided by a gang of refuges from the past, let me take shelter here.
I couldn't visit SAoVQ (or any less important website) for a whole month.
I sent a formal apology to the powers that be.
>>567
Don't worry, you'll catch on the 1024 one!
No, wait a moment..
Any VIPPERs in Japan? I'm leaving for Tokyo this Saturday.

I'll bump this, OK?
3:30pm where i live. just woke up.
>>579
I've been waking up at 14:00 (and going to sleep at 05:00) since summer began. This way, I can avoid the warmest part of the day lying in bed, and enjoy the night.
I've been waking up at 10:30am and going to sleep at 3:30am so I can make it into the nearest city to go to flat viewings.
I found the perfect flat and the landlord gave to to someone else. I'm a little annoyed.
Bumping in my パンツ, yo
H-hello again.
>>584
Hello, will you be me special one? My previous special one has expired.
The fish
It's 13:10. There's still a queue for the bathroom. I can't wait to move out of here.
It is 2009, and I'm still not sure what Touhou is.
bump today!
I forgot to bump this thread the last time.
>>589
A realistic combat simulator used by the JASDF to train recruits.
I was going to take a sip of cold water before going to bed, but no, Mr. big-ass-Australia-jumbo-spider is on the wall, and now I am doomed not to sleep for the next ninety minutes. Crap.
I'm posting using my DSi. Reminds me of the time I didn't have a laptop and had to use a PSP.
It's so humid, goddammit.
The Internet is deserted these days. It makes me sad.
5:00pm; woke up at 2:00pm. already drunk.
I was looking at a needle today and it occurred to me that it was produced by human labor extracting the materials from the land, processing them, producing the pin, packaging it, delivering it to its point of sale, and holding it until purchase. And at each point in that sequence, various tools were used which themselves came from the same chain, and so on until the beginning of advanced human behavior with the Great Leap Forward.
I wonder what neolithic germanic hunters or proto-greek farmers or bronze age babylonian scribes feel about their work culminating in a needle.

I don't understand.
>>606
I think it translates english phrases to japanese and backwards until no more translating is possible and the same result is spat out.
>>606
first we got "the stars my destination," google translates this into "私が先の星" which is apparently something like "the destination is the stars for me." Then it goes to "Star of my," possibly by making some weird misinterpretation of 私が先 as a single bizarre noun phrase made possessive by の. Thanks to the screwed up engrish of the previous "星の私" is produced, something like "I of the stars." "I Star" is somewhat sensible from that, drawing them into apposition pretty naturally. This grammatically makes "Star" seem like a proper noun so it's then rendered phonetically as "私はスター." That to "My Photos" is rather puzzling. Perhaps some social networking site uses that phrase for one's main user image or something, idk. That's translated wholly phonetically into "マイフォト," and that becomes "My Photo" owing to Japan's lack of plural forms.
n.b. I know nothing about japanese or natural language processing.
