Which reminds me that recently, I called some guy in the middle of tha night, shouted "T. S. Elliot" in the phone, and hung up.
My dog is tsundere for being stuffed under my bed.
I would like to think that my cat was tsundere and thats why she acted the way she acted, but no, she just hated me.
I always liked my dogs better anyways. R(L[M)É
My water is getting shut off from 8 to 10:30am, so today I had to wake up earlier than I should to take a shower, and then I filled all my bowls and jugs with water, just in case! Why would they turn it off then? Isn't that prime water time?
My Phantasy Star ZERO just arrived. Is the other VIPPER here?
All this studying is not very VIP...

I didn't realize TV TOKYO was so awesome.
>>Situation:
>Second plane hits the WTC (2001)
>>What TV Tokyo Broadcast:
>Quiz show starring pre-op transvestites
Not >>908, but my work starts at 8:00, but its an hour long commute. I'm I a decent person?
I was told that my non-Japanese DSi is the reason why Phantasy Star 0 won't connect to the Internet. Is that true?
>>916
I can connect on my non Japanese DSi. My check just now was with a ROM but I'm fairly sure it worked when I had the actual game, although since I never really played it I may be lying.
( ß ƒŽß) Let's play together if you get it working!
>>917
I'm getting the generic failed to connect to network error, and when I try to configure the connection, it says "connection security settings something DS something somethingmasen", which makes me sad.
I'm playing story mode right now.
And also, how do I get a friend code?
>>918
Probably your DSi being picky with your router. Gotta mess around with some settings~
Yes, I'm there! Turns out that the network has to have either no security or a WEP key.
>>920
I chose my character based on the yellow scarf. Yellow scarves are excellent.
Hi, going to college soon. Up until now I had the habbit of keeping all my passwords in a tiny notebook and since I didn't leave my home for long, my familly doesn't know much about computers and guests weren't many, this hasn't been a problem.
I'm thinking of burning that notebook before leaving, and storing all those passes on my java phone's memory card.
What are the risks considering that each pass is in a separate file, all are encoded in twofish with an universal pass(more exactly with http://www.bermin.net/encrypt.html) and I'll upload them at home(in their encrypted form) periodically through SFTP(just in case the memory-card gets corrupted)?
>>921
I was talking about excellent scarves a lot just the other day, and the scarf that started it was yellow. We think alike, VIPPER.
Anyway, my friend code is 3223 4876 4625. I'm going out now but I could play later, though I should warn you I seriously suck at games that don't involve high speed bullet dodging.
>>923
Would it not be simpler to memorize them? Or are you worried that someone will torture and you'll speak, so it's safer not to memorize them? Or do you just have hundreds of passwords?
i'm going to buy something to eat because i haven't eat in two days.
>>924
Don't worry, I seriously suck at games that don't involve turn-based battles.
Soon, I am going to go to a normal party full of normal people. I really don't know what to talk about and I have problems with smalltalk.
I'll probably just end up standing around drinking and saying nothing, and people will try to talk to me but I won't be able to carry the conversation very far, and we'll end up just going 'hmm yeah' and looking at our feet, and then they will go away and speak to someone else, and I will just keep standing there, occasionally looking around the room nervously.
I want to go to an abnormal party, what ever that is. Maybe we can go to a jungle and smoke DMT and dance with water coolers to 1920's futurist compositions. That is my kind of party.
>>928
I was in exactly the same situation a month ago. Especially the "don't know what to talk about and I have problems with smalltalk" part. And I had exactly the same apprehensions. Fortunately for me, I managed to find a guy who was into nostalgia and video games, and we spent two hours taking turns in pointing out interesting bits of trivia about games.
>>909
Original PS0 advertiser here. I'll add you guys, but we really need a way to get in contact if we actually want to team up as I highly doubt that we shall bump into each other randomly online, especially considering how Nintendo WiFi works.
So yeah, excellent. My stepfather's shitty windows refuses to accept WEP codes, so I won't be able to play until I go back to my real home, and then it will be two weeks from now, and nobody will be there. Great.
>>930
How about right now?
>>931
Oh damn, this is what I was talking about. How about tomorrow at the 3:00PM EST around the VIP CHAT (if there even is one)?
>>932
If my calculations are correct, and that means 9:00PM GMT+1, then I am in.
>>929
I managed to find some cool but slightly crazy Spanish, French and Mexican students to chill with, so it was alright. As it turns out, I'm not as socially anxious as I thought I was.
AGE
I feel awkward and stupid saying this, but I have Swine Flu. Am I still VIP Quality?
>>938
As long as you stay alive and stay here, yes. Diseases are no match for VIPPERs. Just remember that you can't be VIP Quality after you die.
>>939
What if you died trying to boon across Japan National Route 1 in a Konata mask?
That sounds pretty VIP to me, but as I'm relatively new here, I'll let the veteran VIPPERs answer that for you.
>>941
You are not "new" to VIP. You either are VIP or are not VIP, and seeing as you're here, I believe that you are, indeed, VIP. Feel, don't think.
>>940
You must also be buried in a VIP way, like in the husk of a gundam that is shot into space.
I have indulged and gotten myself a whole new wardrobe. It makes me feel very VIP!
Has any VIPPER ever visited a psychologist? Did it help with your problem?
>>947
Yes. You should go, VIPPER, if you do feel like you want help.
I don't think I need a psychologist's help. Thats probably a sign that I need a psychologist's help...
>>947
I have visited two and neither of them helped me at all. But it might help you. The way I see it, having a psychologist is the equivalent to having a friend who is willing to listen and not judge. Although defining them in this way makes them seem worthless, close and caring friends are extremely rare.
Having said that, visiting a psychologist did not help me at all because they didn't match my personality. However, seeing a psychologist might help you. And so, if you have nothing to lose, than why not? I don't know why you want to visit, but here is an article about memory that might pertain to you.
http://discovermagazine.com/2009/jul-aug/03-how-much-of-your-memory-is-true
The article brushes on bad memories and the brain's ability to detach your emotional response from the memory itself. I think this is a large portion of what goes on in therapy for many people. This is me just talking, but I know that I still struggle with memories that still affect me. But then I try to take some joy in the fact that I am only getting further and further away from it as I get older. I hope my response helped you decide. And I'm very sorry if it didn't.
>>950
Actually, it was very helpful, and now I am sure that no psychologist will help me. And I already had two woe-sink friends, and that didn't help.
Schleppin'
It would be nice to have a small, Internet-enabled underwater box at the ocean floor.
"Yo, where ya goin' with all that SCUBA stuff?"
"I'm going to the Internet. To the underwater Internet."
>>953
I'd concur but I can't swim. I request your pretend internet be located atop a volcano or in outer space.
>>947
I was sent to a quack psychiatrist as a kid. Her meds made everything much worse. As in, they made the issues I previously had almost insignificant. Doing those pills was one of the worst things ever in my life, and today I still feel the effects of how they warped my sense of reality and my ability to feel empathetic. The adverse effects were also physically painful.
Of course, psychologists aren't psychiatrists, they try to figure out your problem instead of medicating it away, so you should go ahead.
But by all means, try to stay away from the pills.
>>951
I don't know if having "woe-sink" friends are equal to having friends who are willing to help and listen. If you aren't going to go to a psychologist, I hope you are willing to try to heal and fix yourself.
>>955
Not all meds or treatments will have those kinds of affects. It depends on the person as well as well as the treatment plan. But like with all things, you should be cautious and aware.
>>956
They are willing to listen, and willing to help, except they can't help. They just make things manageable.
Someone deployed page widening, halp
>>953
Or at least some microwave towers so I can be VIP from my iphone 100 feet under.
Therapy only made me more pissed off than I ever was before.
Pills are the only thing that make my brain function correctly.
I'm feeling so nondescriptly right now. I have done all my chores, and I found myself having two hours left.
And my dog has just sneaked on me in the darkness of my room.
I am on my way to dressing like a professor and/or scientist of the early 1900s. Feels good man.
Damn those chat threads, damn them to hell

Today, I wondered: Is it VIP to drink juice straight out of the carton?
My reasoning is, this way, I don't have to dirty a glass, and I just wanted some sips.
>>976
I think it depends on if you share the cartoon with anyone else.
Strawberry Milk is pretty delicious! I recommend it over orange juice.
Would someone please explain the origin and meaning of that meme? It's popping up all over that place but I can't find any info on it.
>>979
It's from a commercial I believe. I haven't seen the original though.
My pants are bumping this post!!!
My new course-mate asked me what kind of music I listen to. Not thinking much, I began with "country", then I realised what I had done. It was too late to say "Johnny Cash, actually", and now I will always be the guy who listens to country.
I like country too. Johnny Cash, Townes Van Zandt, Hank Williams etc. It's not all Dolly Parton and Hillbillies, anyone who knows about music will realize this.

I din't know about Townes Van Zandt and I'm grateful that you have introduced me to his music, VIPPER.
I may not get the chance to post in this thread again!
