I really like Metal Gear Online. I should play it again and join you guys. It would be fun doing a VIPPER choke fest.
I dislike on-line games in general and you can do nothing about it.
Since we're talking about online games, who tried Valkyrie Sky here?
>>286
I can't stand MMOs because they're grindan timesinks. Online shootan is fun because it's competitive.
It wouldn't be too far off if I said that this thread is the core of The Secret Area.
I do not comprehend women.
I don't play online games because I suck at video games period and it's embarrassed enough when it's just me, by myself, alone, at home. Why would I want to make a fool of myself in front of people online? Plus if you're in a group or a guild or whatever there's always a chance you be "that guy", you know, the one that always dies, the one that always needs healing, the one that always blows your cover and fucks up your awesome strategy, the one that's such an ass-backwards fuckwit he can't do anything right. I'm already that guy in real life, why would I want to be yelled at for it in my supposedly-fun fantasy?
I'm not trying to insult multi-player or online games, I just wanted to share my reasons for not liking them.
Gotta be honest, can't see how someone could not like video games.
>>293
Sounds like 12 years olds are your real problem with online games. Unfortunately there's no solution to this issue yet.
it now occurs to me that it may be fun to play online video games with the intention of interacting with other players beyond the scope of the game like discussing poetry or comparing outlooks on life or attempting to persuade everyone to go outside if the weather isn't overly uncomfortable ☆
A VIPPER is never out of internet! VIP on!
That's actually the only reason I used to keep playing the online games I quickly mastered.
world4ch's merger with 4***n was a major mistake. Now something happened to the host (most likely some Internet teenagers attacking) and I am trapped and unable to read /sci/.
I'd like to try using a mailing program, but I get approximately one e-mail every three days, and having a dedicated program to receive mail so scarcely would be so sad and inactive.
>>303
/sci/ is so dead though! We should have science discussions on SAoVQ. I feel like more of us are a lot more knowledgeable than /sci/ itself.
wwwwwwwwwww
I am afraid to post at this time because you'll all say "hey >>307 is that guy who posted about his poop" but I feel that as a VIPPER I have a duty to uphold and I will not sage this thread like a coward.
There is at least one other person browsing on this site AND DQN at the same time as me. This is so exciting....
>>308
It really is! ALL THREE POSTERS POSTING AT THE SAME TIME HOW CAN THIS BE? I-INCREDIBLE POSTING AT SUCH SPEEDS
Please slow down, SAoVQ is not suited to take more than one post every hour.
>>311
G-GOKU STOP, YOU'RE PUSHING YOURSELF TOO FAR. YOUR BOARD CANNOT HANDLE THIS MUCH POSTING POWER.
Hello VIPPERS are you still here?
>>315
Another VIPPER is upstairs making himself a sandwhich, THAT FAT FUCKING CUNT
I wish I was eating a sandwich.
>>319
I'm currently eating chocolate fudge brownie ice cream and it's glorious
So many posts today, what happened? A VIP HOUR and I was not informed?
In light of the recent events I would like to propose a VIP hour in which we will all visit SAoVQ and post at the same time for an hour straight. So, let's try it out!
Everyone who can, get on SAoVQ on Sunday which is 2/22 at 5:00PM EST and post in any thread you want for an hour! Let's try it VIPPERs!
I just ran and I want to run some more.
I WILL BE THERE unless I'm still sleeping. I should try a lifestyle that follows more my CET timezone.

I am surprised by the amount of awesome arcade games he has. I almost want to be molested by him. It seems worth it.
>>328
Holy fuck he has everything from my childhood. WHAT THE FUCK?! DID ANYONE ELSE PLAY THAT RETARDED BUT FUCKING AWESOME AEROSMITH SHOOTER?
>>328
Impressive machines, but the games themselves are mostly average.
The virtual pinball cab is really something, I had never seen anything like that.
I don't know.
What is a VIP QUALITY thing to say.
?
I'm assisting two of my friends in learning C++ and Python, respectively, while I plow through Java and Perl.
It's a VIP-fest over here!
>>332
Excuse me, the only thing I see in your situation that can be considered VIP QUALITY is Python. That is not enough to make a VIP-fest.
>>334
This is not prog. When we discuss this topic, we are not required to entertain other trolls, so we can share real opinions here.
>>330
Hey hey, I see beatmania, Mocap Boxing, and that 6 player X-men game.
>>336
Oh yeah, disregard what I said, I thought the thing stopped on page 19 because of their stupid reader. Looks like there's 10 times more stuff than I assumed.
Oh God
I have only 268 minutes left and I still haven't completed the birthday card. Oh my.
>>333 Python fails hard for rigid syntax
Only Ruby is of VIP quality, as it was created in Japan.
Holy crap I played that once on my friends Genesis. It even had 16 bit incarnations of some of their songs IIRC.
WELL EVERYONE IT'S TIME FOR VIP POSTING HOUR.
This is like ZERO HOUR except VIP HOUR.
I wish to know what everyone is snacking on while participating in VIP HOUR.
>>345
I just finished some toast and now I am drinking some tea with a little milk and half a teaspoon of sugar.
>>345
Nothing. However, I am strongly DRUNK. Please attribute any low-quality posts to me.
I ate a hotpocket and now I'm drinking coffee
Also: It's merely a coincidence that I'm here. I just woke up and am waiting for food to cook.
>>352
Keep that sass mouth up and I'll treat you to something else.
So what is everyone's favorite anime character?
>>355
I couldn't tell you to be honest. I don't watch enough animu.
Now manga character... I couldn't tell you either. So many to choose from. orz
SAILORMOON
>>355
As for me, it's Motoko Kusanagi!

>>362
What about Akagi, I feel like he's kind of cooler. I like Rei personally. w
>>363
Speaking of Rei and speaking of cool, she is as cold as ice.
wwwwww
>>366
In that case, can we be friends?
http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/1234150198?index_top_osusume_thumb Also let's watch this cute nicovideo.
>>367
We can certainly be friends!
Only first I must get a nicovideo account. I've been meaning to do this for well over a year.
I've had a Nico account before it was cool to have one.
>>373
When Nico first debuted and people were going gay for it on /a/, I signed up for one then.
>>370
You can also use this ghetto redirector: http://mmcafe.com/nico.html
You're still better off with an account. (I don't understand this policy of requiring accounts. Say what you will about the idiocy of web 2.1.8, but you'd never see such bullshit happening in an english-speaking website).
>>371
Okay I have applied for one I'm just waiting on the e-mail.
I want to understand the ways of speaking in JAPANLANDIA.
>>379
I think I'm going to pick Japanese back up. I want to be able to read 2ch and futaba basically. That's a good reason right?
>>379
If you watch enough fansubbed anime you will learn as if by magic!
Haha just kidding, you're going to have to either get a tutor or put in a lot of hours studying by yourself.
>>381
I had a tutor for about two years and have been to Japan which helped. I know a good amount but I stopped studying for at least 6 months. I need to find some way to launch myself back into it without starting up expensive lessons again. orz
> lot of hours studying by yourself.
I have to warn you, I have been learning English all by myself and now I am in like pro, bro.
But seriously, tutors suck. It's all too slow (I mean, really slow) and boring and you have to pay for it. I think that the reason why people choose tutors is that they provide some kind of motivation. I devote some time each day for learning Japanese, but I doubt that a regular person would think "oh, such a great weather, let's read some language books!".
>>380
That's the reason why I'm learning Japanese. When we're ready, we could pretend we're both Japanese ans write Japanese e-mails to each other and to real Japanese VIPPERS wwwwww.
