ONCE UPON A TIME, MEN FOUGHT.
Oh my, this feels like a third one, not fifth.
I could have taken >>1232843359/1000, but I remembered the words of a wise VIPPER: it it sometimes more quality not to act than to act.
Bump this thread every time you visit for the FIRST TIME today Bump this thread every time you visit for the FIRST TIME today [Part 5] - The Golden Wind
Bump.
I am so overjoyed that I will bump this thread the SECOND TIME today
Well, I'm at work, so. Here it goes.
Sometimes I bump more than once. Sometimes I don't bump at all.
Other times, I just go back to sleep and try to forget that I ever woke up.
Bumps on my body. Bumps for the thread.
Oh man i missed the last thread.
When the person you love makes electrical engineering puns it is good, right? I think I am very happy.
Sometimes, if you have someone very special, it's best not to post about it. The thoughts which are worth a world of QUALITY to you are worth nothing to anyone else. Worse, you run the risk of making someone feel less QUALITY, which is a fallacy, as we are all VIP, but it may happen regardless. And so, what do you have to gain from it? We are all VIPPERs here.
According to the time stamps for a period of one minute there was no "Bump this thread every time you visit for the FIRST TIME today" thread. I worry for any VIPPER who visited in that period and was unable to bump.
iyaaan~
Today I finally got around with reposing one of my action figures. For all the money I spent on them, I find it odd how I cannot motivate myself at times to play with them. I blame finals!
first @ 10:52 PM EST IM LATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The Breakfast Dilemma.
yes yes and sage
Oh I missed 1001GET. Well, next time for sure.
Another day, another dol--BUMP
Another day, and it is raining. ♩
Well, I'm about to go to sleep. Goodnight, VIP.
Ah, I've just had my coffee and I feel great. Sure you can pass here. Are you in a hurry?
Oh god I just looked at the first page on your imageboard and we need help.
The vestibule spiders are all around the room, with six boss spiders leading them. I had to leave through the window today. I thought that such things happened only in Australia.
Consequently, >>33 is also right!
This is outrageous. I hope that the internet police don't shut down this websight because of this.
>>31
What the hell just happened ?
How could such vandals be allowed in SaoVQ ?
I say DaddyCool should raise the admission fee.
wait up guys im finally here!
That's the first serious thunder-storm this year. I love thunder-storms even more than I love rain.
What service! I wasn't even bothered to see the atrocity.
TERRIBLE PEOPLE IN THIS WORLD
We need another mod clean up on the board please
Is there an emergency mail address to use for cases like this?
I'm thinking we may need more mods... It's been an hour and it's still there....
('A`;)
Now I'll never go to heaven.
In the name of quality, I want temporary mod powers.
Thank you (・з・)-chan this VIPPER is appreciative of your endeavors.
I imagine (・з・)-chan and DADDYCOOL the VIPPE Rand being in the relationship like Ben and Jacob in the American serial drama television series "LOST". www.
Thank god I missed all the scary shit going down.
I don't really have anything worthwhile to say.
I would really like to watch a new animu.
Don't mind me, just taking a break from messing up in 3rd Strike.
umph
i like oros and doing chickn' combo into pots and pans ex, cya
Would a VIPPER like to write the physics lab report with me? Or for me? It is super-exciting!
Excuse me, may I bump this thread?
I just beat Demon's Souls. This game was fucking amazing.
>>68
Some of the last bosses for some levels aren't all that tough. Like 4-3, 5-3 are fairly easy, but they have some really cool gimmicks. 2-4 made me shit my pants. 3-3 was a bit easier because a player invaded my game and played as the boss and he was kind of a dumbass.
Apparently playing New Game+ makes the game three times harder.
There are TOO DAMN MANY CHAT THREADS ON SAOVQ
>>70
Maybe SAoVQ should be limited to exactly one thread and everyone can posr everyTHANG in that thread.
So there I am, sitting, staring at the moonlit sky, listening to Tsunami Bomb, having absolutely no idea what to do with my day off tomorrow.
I strive to be as VIP QUALITY as possible, but I can't be on my A-game every day...
>>74
THEN STRIVE FOR THE A-GAME. AS LONG AS IT'S IN YOUR HEART AND YOUR INTENTIONS.
I had no sleep, and the math lecture is looming ahead. How sad.
I have a date with a female human this saturday.
She says she wants to think of me as an older brother, but continues to have sex dreams about me. Does this mean she's into incest?
Across the nation; VIP4LIFE!
I just think that means she's pretty messed up.
I'd advise you to leave her alone, but then this is probably your only chance at succeeding with a woman, at least in the short-term.
>>79
In my experience that means she loves you and wants to fuck you. What I'm saying is, reenact incest doujins.
>>82-kun, I don't mean to hostile or anything but perhaps you would be happier at another internet website community posting thing. It's not that there's anything wrong with you, or with me, or with us, but sometimes things between people just don't work out. You understand, right?
Oniichan, can I bump too~
I sometimes wish to bump this thread.
However, it's already at the top, so I don't think that really counts as a bump.
B-un free in your area.
My toaster is fried. Certainly not VIP quality.
I gave all my money to DADDYCOOL. I can barely make ends meet now.
It was worth it.
I can never think of anything decent to bump this thread with.
But I guess I should stop thinking and start feeling instead.
I need some more shirts. Anyone know where I can get some VIP quality shirts?
Three finals in one day, following a week of studying 10 hours a day. Alcohol time!
My teeth hurt. Fucking dentists...
Two hours are left to what might be the most important moment of my life.
Watching K-on is a lot of fun if you're lonely. You can pretend you're the one male friend visiting the club and you accidentally hit one of the symbols on the drumset so Ritsu has to shush you and the two of you make funny gestures to each other while trying to be as quiet as possible but eventually you both end up bursting out in laughter and everyone else wakes up and gives you a disgruntled look before fully waking up and giving you hugs and affection for being the only beloved male supporter of the band and walking with you on the way home. That's what I imagine having friends is like.
Vipping on 0% battery power.
F O E
I am cured.
My dog is snoring very loud. The lazy bum.
I'm in terrible stomach-ache, and I am also very hungry, but I can't eat anything because it hurts and it hurts because I'm hungry. I think I will starve to death.
Good night sweet VIPPERS I am off to sleep as I am about to collapse.
I ask only to be shot while my mind is still clean.
You are all now bu~ning manually.
I met a VIPPER today. He was learning Japanese so I approached him and asked MITON GA SUKI DESU KA and he said EEE...ARIMASEN. I believe that he was a VIPPER in disguise.
Are any VIPPERs going to Otakon? Even though it's unVIP.
I've just noticed that links.saovq works again
Just when I thought I could be a normal person like everyone else, everything falls apart again. Today I decided to go to Starbucks on the way to work (which I am at right now). I was nervous because I've been to Starbucks only twice before and it requires talking to people. I walked in and after debating in my head whether or not "grande" was pronounced granDAY or granDEE went up to the register. I said what I had been saying in my head over and over in preparation, "Hi I would like a granDAY coffee." He knew what I was talking about and said that will be some number under two dollars. I was excited. I didn't accidentally trip over the words and he understood me perfectly. It was like I was a regular person, a regular customer. I had prepared two dollars in advanced and was hoping the tax didn't cause the price to be over two dollars which meant I would have to fumble around in my wallet. I received my change and he quickly brought my coffee. I was smiling in my head at this point. I went over to the cream and sugar area and found the regular milk canister, I prefer regular milk. I slowly unscrewed it and began to pour it hoping nothing bad would happen like it suddenly releasing a tidal wave of milk all over the counter. Nothing came out, after fiddling with it for a while, nervous that I was doing something wrong, I found that it was actually empty. Somehow, and this is quite amazing, I managed to sum up the courage to say to the guy behind the counter, "Hi, I think this is out of milk or I'm doing it wrong." I said everything correctly and he, believing I knew what I was doing, immediately replaced the milk not even checking to see if I was being a retard. I was ecstatic at this point, two homeruns in such a short time period. I poured the milk in and then began adding sugar. I took a little coffee spinner and spun it really well. I took a coffee top (which usually I thought they gave you) and placed it on but then I remembered I should probably test it out first. I was overconfident at this point, normally I would not taste it with the coffee lid on as I would have to take the coffee lid back off and then add more stuff, making me look weird and holding up other people, maybe this was my downfall. All of the sudden a torrential downpour of coffee comes rushing down my hand and onto the floor. I had no idea what happened at the time. I did the only thing I knew how to do, I HURRIEDLY walked right out the door and ran away to an alley nearby, burning hot coffee spilling out onto my hand and the floor every step I took. I put the coffee down and crouched, inspecting it. I put on a lid that was too small and it caused a leak, or so I believe. I will never return to that Starbucks ever again.
The 4***n has gotten into VIP@world4ch. It is sad to see old friends die.

It had been there for a while unfortunately. What a mess our internet has become, huh?

⊂二二二( ^ω^)二⊃ BOOOON
here is funny internet,isnt it?
uha wwwwwwwww gigawalosu wwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww
Boon, spelled backwards, is nooB
My Dad gave me some calligraphy brushes and ink. I have no idea how to use it. I love my Dad.
I am visiting for the first time today.
Hello.
I bought a mouse for my cat today. It gnawed through it's cardboard container on the train which does NOT allow pets and I had to kick it and then shove it back into the plastic bag. I have it triple sealed up in my apartment and I have no idea how long it will survive (or if it's dead already). I have to wait until tonight before I feed my cat it. Do you think it will survive?
I don't think you should be owning a cat, or any animal for that matter.
Well to those that were worried, the mouse was still alive and my cat loved it. The cat feasted upon its carcass, head first, and heartily crunched his bones.
Another Wednesday, another sleepless night, another math lecture at which I'll be sleepy.
My lover and I have can't seem to reconcile our thoughts about memory so we were wondering if VIPPERS could help give us new insight into it. I say that everyone accesses their memory through scanning. If someone wants to remember where they left their keys, he thinks back and recalls what he did a few hours ago/a day ago/ect. By tracing back to what his room looked like or what things he did after coming home, he remembers that he accidentally remembered them falling on the ground after he threw them onto the counter. I propose that he 'scans' his memory and goes through the experience of his memory to access it. My significant other disagrees and says that no one else does this. People try to remember something and then it instantly pops into their head. What do VIPPERS think? How do VIPPERS access their memory?
Of course, we both understand that people use different methods of remembering things for different situations. During an interrogation, the detainee is forced to think back or scan the specific event to recall exactly what happened. On the other hand, there have been times when I can't remember a word and I don't have an event (or specific memory) to recall it through, but the word still pops into my head randomly. I guess the question essentially becomes, do other VIPPERS actively and consciously remember things through a process or does it just pop into your heads. We're sure it's both, but which is more common or used more often? My significant other says that I have an unusual way of remembering things, but I think my significant other underestimates the amount of people who remember things the same way as I do.
I just gonna get some milk, I'll be right back.
Okay, I'm back.
This actually isn't the first time I've visited today, but I'd like to bump the thread anyway.
Has anyone thought of making a SAoVQ flash video? Similar to the 2ch ones?
I was not feeling very well today, so I decided to take a lift. Now, I cannot convey here how I feel about lifts. Let's say that I use them only as a last resort, even though I regularly have labs at seventh floor. It's a religious thing. So there I am, legs weary, the lift arrives with a DING!, I enter, there are two people already there. I reach out my hand as I try to remember where I have math so I can push the appropriate button, and then it happens. I realise that the math classroom is just on the first floor. I want to leave and take the stairs, I won't ride the lift just one floor. I turn back, but the door is slowly closing. It is too late to leave comfortably. It's over. My hope is dashed. I close my eyes, and prepare for the longest lift ride in my life...
I'm here relax everyone
I'm here to provide QUALITY.
today i learned from iranian films that "A real man isn't a sumuggler"
Before posting I sat staring out my window trying to think of what I did today. Then it dawns on me. I didn't do anything. Not a damn thing.
I did not do anything today either. Whats worse is that there's plenty of stuff I could and should do, but I don't do any of it, and then I complain about being bored.
I just installed the Safari 4 beta. It absolutely rapes text encoding. Damn it!
Something big is coming, nida
I've always wanted a Neo Geo Pocket Color ('A` )
THE PLEASURE OF oh sorry I thought this was somewhere else.
>>150
I always wanted a NeoCD.
A bunch of arcade machines would also suffice.
>>152
I want an Outrun cab. I know someday I'll break down and buy one.
Today, I was carrying a MASSIVE box with my friend, each of us holding it by one handle at one side, and we were going by bus, and we were leaving the bus, and we had to haul that thing out, so we grabbed it, and as we were halfway out (that it, I was out, and he was still it), the door began closing, in attempt to crush the package. It also wanted to clamp my arm so I got angry and feigned pain and growled terribly, prying the door open with my bare arms, but it was no use, the sliding door was trying to cut me in half, and I tried again, and bellowed even more, but still in vain, so I looked around and found the door opening button and with a gleeful blink in the eye I smashed it with my fist and the door was let loose and we were free.
And you'd think you live on the edge every day.
>>153
I've played the SUPER DELUXE 4-PLAYER OUTRUN 2 CAB before. Apparently there's only two of them in North America or something like that. SHIT WAS SO CASH.
I've been thinking about compiling the best, say, 36 tablecat wisdoms, and making about a calendar with them. A VIP QUALITY calendar.
I have discovered that SAoVQ has too little GENOCIDE BY BOOMERANGS.
I'm going to complain every two weeks, when I have to write a physics lab report. Consider yourself cursed, SAoVQ.
My computers fan is horribly loud
The last time I complained about it being Monday was in the last thread, near the end. I'll complain again. I hate Mondays.
I've been trying to change my major, and I've missed the second appointment I've made to do so in a row. I feel really bad.
I have nothing to add to this thread.
I just bought a new PCI USB host!
Four external usb ports, plus one internal makes this VIPPER a happy guy.
No more physics reports. Do you have any idea what this means? Well, you don't, it means NO
MORE
PHYSICS

!
>>165
Hmmm....I'm compelled to deduce you're trying to tell me something.
I also have two exams tomorrow. Do you have two exams tomorrow? I bet you don't.
I'm taking Differential Equations. Since I have no natural talent for math, it is moderately difficult for me.
Of course, the fact that I spend more time VIPPING than working probably has something to do with it...
Bumpy; don't like math do it any way. As little as statistically possible to pass.
I believe I made my third real friend today. A four-people buddy-group is very optimal, since you can split into two sub-groups, and there is never a member who cannot talk to anyone. But a six-people group would be too much, so I won't be making any more friends.
>>171
I stick with only one buddy, whom also has as little of a social life, as well as almost as much free time as I do. This means that we never have to worry about being apart if we don't want to, and we know alot more about each other that we would if there were four buddies.
Quick facts:
5 people is an odd sized group I must admit, but its nice to have a fifth person to settle retarded debates.
I have noticed that the domains table.cat and tablec.at are both still available.
I'd snatch the first one myself but then I would feel obligated to build a monument to tablecats at that address to justify the investment.
How does one feel without thinking? If I try to feel, I usually end up thinking about what I'm feeling. And then, suddenly, I'm back to only thinking.
I've been walking for six hours and fifteen minutes (save for ten minutes when I ate dinner (and met my OS professor, who was eating pancakes)), pillaging various shopping centres, looking for the perfect shirt and some bread. I have found neither. I don't think that either exists. And my legs hurt so much.
That Looney Tunes game, where you could play as Bugs Bunny (with carrots as ammo), some other guy, and that shy pig dude (with watermelons as ammo), SOMEONE MUST KNOW IT.
I think of things when I feel myself. Oh yeah.
>>177
All I can say is that the game is NOT Desert Demolition then.
I think that the third character was Taz. I need that game in the name of nostalgia.
My neighbour has moved out. Even though he was absolutely serious and adult, he will be missed.
I am in NYC for the World Science Festival.
Bumping from a neighbour's wireless
I spent the day getting stressed and missing appointments. I wish I had spent the day in bed or, better yet, VIPPING.
Tomorrow I am going to Aberdeen. I wonder what fun adventures I will have there?
Yes, I hate America. So? I don't see any problem. I embraced my communist soul long ago and am happy with my boyfriend (who is a cute marxist/leninist revolutionary!). We have a lot of friends in and outside of the party and I am pretty hairy and distrustful of kulaks.
But thanks anyway, asshole. Go and post your stupid flames while I agitate the lumpen-proletariat with my boyfriend.
We have a lot of European VIPPERS. I think this is a good thing, but I wish we could maybe get some Japanese VIPPERS or something.
>>188
I'm an adult male living in the Glorious Union of Eurolandia. I went to school and do stuff for money. I enjoy posting on anonymous discussion boards.
Maybe I've said too much. I hope you guys won't manage to track me down with all this information.
I had a dream, and in that dream, I had a cat.
I've grown bored of tea. I have water, ice, and lemon juice here what can I do (besides iced water with lemon juice)?
Write secret messages while drinking cold water!
My new toaster burned down. As in, you know, catching on fire, flames, and black soot on the carpet. Someone clearly doesn't want me to eat toasts.
I have not been VIPPING the past few days. I need to make up for this.

>>213
Once, I've survived over two weeks. It was the worst two weeks in my life.
My no-longer-friend has bribed the professor to pass the exam. He told me this, and he told me that he's been doing this for two years, and now he is wondering why I don't condone this and why I punched him in the face. I am losing faith in the people closest to me.

>>215
Good work, VIPPER.
However, it's a sad but true fact that the path of the righteous man is seldom travelled.... and therefore very lonely.
>>215
How exactly was he bribing him? I have never heard of this before.
>>228
Dramatis personae: he - the ex-friend; Prof - physics professor;
He wasn't very confident about the exam, so he asked the Prof to copy his grade from the physics lab, but the Prof said that labs didn't cover theory and then he said that maybe he could bring an interesting book and they'd forget about the whole thing and all that bribe suggestive talk. I don't know whether the Prof accepted the bribe, but I hope not, he doesn't look like someone who would.
>>229
Why are you so upset over cheating? I understand that you may find it unethical but in reality, it's sometimes necessary given the way the school system is now. While your friend may genuinely care about learning and understanding the class, his grades still determine his future to an extent. The grade itself is what matters in the future not whether or not he actually learned so his attempt at changing the grade is really just a way of rightfully cheating the system, or at least I think this.
>>230
Nonono, I know what the exam is like, and I know what he is like, and I'm absolutely sure that he could easily get the max grade from the exam. He's just afraid to take the exam, afraid that he'll screw something up, and that's not an attitude to take.
Also, we have professors in our school that are cold-hearted bastards, that enjoy screwing with us, and randomly flunk us for using different variable names (you might also remember that). The Physics Professor is certainly not one of them, quite the opposite in fact. He's a very nice and understanding person, and offering him a bribe is just not right.
I have not posted in months.
This having a job and trying to get females is really cutting into my VIP time
Hmm. After looking at his web-site again, I believe that my Physics Professor might be VIP quality.
http://magweasel.com/2009/06/10/my-brother-drank-my-te/
Nothing in English will ever be as good as NEWS4VIP. Not even here ('A` )
>>299-231
I genuinely do not understand your friend's cheating within this context. Professors make a decent salary/$90,000 average. This being the case, why in the world would a professor accept a bribe from a student when the professor could get caught and lose tenure or lose his job.
Considering all that a professor has in stake, exactly how much could a student offer in return for a good grade? It would have to be a lot of money and I doubt that many students are capable of offering anywhere near that much. (However, all of this logic collapses when sex and young, pretty females are added into the equation. --I personally doubt that much student-teacher relationships are going on, but I could be wrong.)
I think your friend said >>229 half-jokingly and your professor most likely did not take the bribe.
Bumping as its my Daddy Cool-given right as a VIPPER
Exam time!
I have been banned from link posting on this site.
I have been told to complain somewhere but I don't know where.
...All I wanted to do was post a Merzbow vs Hatsune Miku mash-up on the links board...
I bought a Neo Geo Pocket Color. This thing has the most amazing d-pad ever.
Australian desert roads, landmarked with gas station every now and then, is what I want to experience before I die.
>>247
I did, but it only came with Card Fighter's Clash and an AC adapter.
The bundles weren't that good a deal. And yes, PRICE GOUGING.
The clickyness of the d-pad is beautiful. It feels and sounds so good. Every other d-pad feels so lifeless now.
I just got an NDS ( ´Д`). Actually I didn't, I just bought some games, and now I am bound to buy the console.
excuse me may i bump through here

Castlevania Portrait of Ruin, and also Dawn of Sorrow. All DS games work on DSi, right?
I'm getting really into Dancehall music.
But not as much as I'm into Italiadisco, obviously.
Beggars versus thieves. That is what the music I listen to is about.
The hit marker says 55,550.
Bump time!
Dda da da du da du da
What do you call the document where a student gathers all his grades?
New to this type of board?
Not sure what SAoVQ is?
So I was in a bus, and as soon as I entered, I took one of these funky four-seat clusters (you can stretch your legs freely). About five minutes later, two girls left their regular double-seat and sat in my cluster, even though the other four-seater was free. I don't get it.
Sup guys. I'm in some shitty Kansas City airport. halp
SAGERU DOT ORG is now completely overrun by spambots, instead of being 85% overrun like it was 6 months ago.
I want to go on vacation and leave the country but I don't know where to go.
Frankly, Europe has never interested me, and I don't want to go to Japan or China. Africa, India, and South America are to dangerous/dirty/sad for too little to see so I don't want to go there either.
I like the ocean and I only live a couple hundred miles away from the border, maybe I should drive across to Mexico, set myself up in a fancy beach side hotel and then get captured by drug warlords. Is having your head cut off VIP Quality?
Maybe I should go to Russia. My mothers side of the family was kinda-sorta Russian, I think I'd like it there.
I look at the Internet and I weep.
my laptop's battery has expired and the ac cuts out if wiggled around too much and a ~1.5 in diameter circle of dead pixels has formed in the lower left corner of the screen. what should i do, VIPPERS?
i don't normally bump twice in one day but the circle of dead pixels has grown to ~2 inches and the left side of the screen has dead pixels to a depth of ~1mm and i'm starting to hyperventilate please send a team of professional VIPPERS ASAP
Are any VIPPERs going to Otakon?
I'm going to play some creepy music and read Junji Ito's stuff tonight. Suggest me creepy music.

It's been a long time since we've had a video at the top of the page. Anyone here been VIPPING long enough to remember that black guy playing Spelunker? I've always wanted to see that video again.
Bumpu!
Not eating for 24 hours feels surprisingly non-bothering.
So... Billy Mays is dead. Everyone in Hollywood better watch out.
My Internet bus time-table is down. I am disabled.
It has been almost three months since I did any VIPPING... I apologize for my neglect.
VIPPERs, you will still be here on holidays, right? I don't want to be left alone.
I'm working almost all summer. So I'll be around to VIP~
wankers
I am dying of hay fever. Italian VIPPER can have my collection of Korean porn and my Japanese Sega Saturn when I'm gone.
It is too hot, my head, she cannae take it captain!
I've moved into this new apartment, and I've eaten nothing but plums, granola, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, and Otter Pops.
I found a dead fly lodged between the wall and my bed. This is enigmatic.
I have to go hang out the laundry now despite the fact that the varieties of pollen in it the garden with probably make my nose explode and my eyes feel as though I rubbed curry powder in them.
i just lose my work.

I'm flattered but please, try to survive. I value your life, fellow VIPPER.

I wanted to say the same about you, but then I realised that you are not a fellow VIPPER!
DQN Electronics Volume 3 still sounds great.
I have just had an awful day. I'm staying inside.
>>313
I will have two awful months of staying inside, we can be miserable together.
I went to the dentist today
I went to the dentist today and the dentist was a little bit creepy. My significant other and I have made up this game where we name people's problems/disabilities/flaws. I say the dentist was a pedophile
>>315-316
I need to have some serious work done on a tooh, but first I'm in the market for a new dentist. I don't want to entrust my health to someone who proudly displays a bunch of book about homeopathy on the shelf above her desk.
I have not been to dentist in seven years. My grand-mother is a retired dentist and she is concerned about my teeth. I don't complain.

I went to a tsundere cafe last time I was in Tokyo. The girls there were definitely more tsun tsun than dere dere, if you know what I mean.
If you smoke 'caine, you a stupid motherfucker! Known around the 'hood as the schoolyard clucker. Doin' that crack with all the money you got; on your hands and knees searchin' for a piece of rock.
>>321
Hey where is the tsundere cafe? I am going to Comiket this summer and would like to visit it (I have yet to go). Any other suggestions? I've been before but I may have missed something cool.
>>323
Shit if I remember. This was sometime in 2007, so the place is probably gone by now.
>>324
IIRC it was there in 2008 too (at least), but I never got a chance to visit. Oh well, with that said any VIPPERs going to Japan this summer? If so I would like to bu-n with you.
>>325
I am going to Corea, but I may be hopping on a ferry to Fukuoka if time permits.
I'm on my friend's laptop whilst he going for a run. His browsing history is kinda worrying. I feel like I should warn him about the dangers of trying to hook up for casual sex.
Also I'm slighty scared that he, a 19 year old, is trying to find a swingers party to go to.
I was not ready to suddenly become the most important person in someone's life and to give advices.
Okay but I kinda don't want him to catch any STI's or children.
There's a person on a desolate beach, sitting and watching the sea, and then another person comes in and the first one says that it's so calm here and that the second on will be coming here soon, too.
Paraphrased quote: "And when I wake up on a sunny meadow, and there will be a spider on my face, I'll gently place in in the grass. Because it's his world too".
Where are these scenes from? It's been bugging me for months.
Your mind is shouting at you "just so you know, here's a preview of the next nightmare: the theme's gonna be dismemberment, why don't you just close your eyes?" and then you're trying your best to move. Only the left foot seems to move - moving very fast actually, but is it really moving in the real world? It's feeling so real, is it severed? Wait, I'm trying to wake up, I must not think in dream logic, I just need to...
Oh, I can move now. Fuck sleep paralysis.
I've only experienced sleep paralysis once in my life. I fell asleep on a bus with my head at an extremely odd angle, so I'm not even sure if it was true sleep paralysis or if I was just on a nerve or something, but when I woke up I couldn't move, not even open my eyes. I knew right away what it was so I just kinda chilled there until I could move again. Odd thing was it affected my hearing too, because I could hear people talking but I wasn't able to comprehend any of it.
>>332
>>333
I've had sleep paralysis once before as well. I dreamed that I was waking up from a dream and was just laying in my bed. It was completely real then when I got to my stairs I realized this wasn't real and I was really afraid because I knew how horrifying my dreams like this could be (I used to have bad dreams as a child a lot). I woke up for real this time but in a state of complete paralysis. I had no idea what it was but it felt like some dark entity was on top of me. I was pretty freaked out because I couldn't move AT ALL, it felt like I was going to die. However after about 8 seconds I realized what it was (from reading previous accounts of it) and then tried desperately to look whatever it was that was on top of me directly, which of course didn't work. Afterwards I was pretty freaked out still, I didn't go back in that room for the rest of the day.
One Castlevania has just arrived. Buying games for consoles I don't have yet is certainly VIP Quality.

I'll probably do that when the next Team ICO game comes out for the PS3.
For right now I'm "playing" a cracked version of the new Sims. I downloaded it for nostalgic reasons and to see what had changed but so far it's been kinda boring and too much like the Sims 2. I could have more fun and take up less hard drive space by just installing the original and all its expansion packs.

I feel like they fucked up The Sims after the first one. It all got too "hip." The last thing I want from some awkward, blocky automatons are them trying to be cool.

What's worth saving about world4ch? /lounge/ and /jews/ are only spam, and /prog/ is entertaining but far from VIP quality. Everything else is pretty dead.

/jews/ has gone downhill fast since it was infected by the 4ch*n and is beyond recovery, but /lounge/ could be salvaged, and I disagree about /prog/ not being VIP quality. I would just remove some 4*hannism from there, and it's pure VIP.

Scott Joplin - The Entertainer (A greatest hits compilation, £3.99)

A day outside and not minding the spider twenty centimetres above my head on a hammock has put forth the following question;
Dear VIPPER arachnophobes, how close can you comfortably get to a wild spider? And what if the spider is in a situation that ensures that we won't jump at you (glass or something)?
I depends. If I'm outside, pretty close, since I figure thats their territory and I've just got to work around them. If their inside my house I usually try to capture them and release them which involves getting close, but sometimes I'm to lazy to do that, in which case I prefer to use the spider spray so they don't fall on me and I don't have to feel them crunching under my fingers. If one gets on me though, inside or outside, I flip the fuck out.

Okay; keep in mind that I can go over just the basics, as a lot of survival is based on vocabulary. Also, this might apply only to eastern European prisons.
There are three castes; the highest ('people'), a caste based on twisted form of honour and friendship; the middle caste ('suckers', 'nonpeople'), where there are really no rules, and it's them when you see the prison films; and the lowest caste ('bitches', also 'nonpeople'). Only policemen, politicians, etc. and their relatives are bitches by default. Oh, and also brutal rapists and paedophiles.
Unless noted otherwise, the tips apply only to 'people'.
That's all I can get off the top of my head.

I think it translates english phrases to japanese and backwards until no more translating is possible and the same result is spat out.
>>606
first we got "the stars my destination," google translates this into "私が先の星" which is apparently something like "the destination is the stars for me." Then it goes to "Star of my," possibly by making some weird misinterpretation of 私が先 as a single bizarre noun phrase made possessive by の. Thanks to the screwed up engrish of the previous "星の私" is produced, something like "I of the stars." "I Star" is somewhat sensible from that, drawing them into apposition pretty naturally. This grammatically makes "Star" seem like a proper noun so it's then rendered phonetically as "私はスター." That to "My Photos" is rather puzzling. Perhaps some social networking site uses that phrase for one's main user image or something, idk. That's translated wholly phonetically into "マイフォト," and that becomes "My Photo" owing to Japan's lack of plural forms.
n.b. I know nothing about japanese or natural language processing.

The Cacti Lover Society of North America is such a grim place. It's like a deserted circus.
I've put off writing my essay for far too long...
I was barely seventeen, and I once killed a boy with a fender guitar
I posted in a different thread before posting here, so now I feel really bad.
>>611
For a more bright and interesting society full of North American cacti lovers, join the Native American Church.
I'm bored.
It's half past midnight, so now I can post here again.
I've been waiting for a game, and I got sent the wrong one. I am so angry.

Title : LA-MULANA
Genre : Action Archaeological Ruins Exploration
Release Date : November 2009
That has to be the coolest genre name.
Never heard of it, however that genre does in fact intrigue me...
>>628
La-Mulana is an amazing and vicious freeware game. Shouldn't be too hard to find it. That right there coming out in November is the WiiWare remake and it's making me froth.
Shiren 3, this and the Homebrew Channel are gonna justify me buying a Wii.
Hey guys, what's with the underlined letters in the banners? And why SAonQ?
I believe that I just had the biggest fit of anger since I remember.
grrrrrrrrrrrrrr
Now I'm going to be angry at not knowing that hides behind >>634-san.
Hello I found this

Not a chance. Seriously. I refuse to believe the bit about lumberjacks also.
That list has clearly been compiled in reverse order. The lumberjack thing goes without saying, but dairy farmer as second worst? Think about it - dairy farmers get to own HUNDREDS of cows. That is awesome.
EMTs get to ride in ambulances. Roustabouts have an super-manly name and work on oil rigs. Child care workers play with lolis all day. Firefighters are pretty much superheroes.
Although the mistake is a major one and really should have been caught, it's also a very simple one, and depending the circumstances was perhaps easily made.
I don't see what's wrong with seaman. My Dad is one, and he has enough money to warrant me a future without the need for a job, and he also keeps a stash of the Kikkoman Sauce handy.
Being an Astronomer would pretty such suck, really.
Also people with philosophy degrees that don't have rich parents end up unemployed. I really liked philosophy in Highschool and got an A at higher, but I avoided doing it at university after seeing how hard it was to get a job with that degree.
>>645
WOW AN A IN PHILOSOPHY CLASS IN HIGH SCHOOL? WAS IT AT LEAST HARDER THAN GETTING AN A IN HOME EC? OR SHOP?
>>646
VIPPER, where's your quality? Calm down, we are a big family here.
Well, sorry for enjoying the subject. I don't exactly know how I managed to offend you but there's no need for that. And I ended up not doing philosophy and doing something completely different instead, why are you so mad?
Did you pursue a career in physics, maths or engineering, just out of interest?
Most of the "best" jobs sound boring. At least the "worst" jobs are adrenaline pumping, and can be dangerous. Not to mention most of the "worst" jobs get paid quite a bit for what they do.
I wonder where fucking retail sales associate fell on the list?
I just read a doujin where one character raped another, using another doujin by the same publisher as a guide. It's like I have been slashed to death with the shards of the broken fourth wall.
Wow.
>>651
With a story like that, I believe you're obligated to give us a link.
I should pursue a career in hypnotism and homeopathics.
I should pursue my post-man, who managed not to deliver any of the three packages I'm waiting for.
>>654
Relax, VIPPER, you simply cannot go wrong with Love Hina ero manga.
>>654
Stop that worrying and believe in yourself, VIPPER.
I only read a couple of pages but I can't help wondering if he just couldn't be bothered to write new dialogue.
I left my whiteboard at my real home, and I am unable to plan anything. Oh, man.
I got soaked by the evening rain.
It would've felt better if it was a touch warmer.
Sorry, I accidentally bumped another thread before this one. I won't do it again, promise!
I saw a young loli bearing a shirt that read "VIP to GOD" today.
a panda carries out and is w.
>>664
That took me a few minutes to puzzle out since I don't think of the acronymic meaning of 'VIP' anymore. Thanks, SAoVQ!
nothing to do.
>>669
Yeah, I noticed an English patch got released yesterday. I'm downloading it now, can't wait to play it.

oh my what will come of this.
I went to sleep at 10 PM and woke up at 8 AM and I am still tired.
>>672
I know your pain, VIPPER. I bet you sleep about six hours every night, right? Then, no matter how long you sleep, you get sleepy after a while.
VIPPING at my new job! I love getting a salary to do shitty web development and screw around in photoshop!
i'll try policenauts, thanks vipper!
You know VIPPERs, I really love you guys. Please don't stop posting. I have a lot of fun hanging out here.
How difficult would it be to make a knock off Nicovideo for VIP Quality use?
Has anyone ever replied to themselves in a thread and not realize they are talking to themselves?
The feeling when your eyes want to sleep, but your mind doesn't. Perhaps it's too excited. Perhaps your eyes have gone haywire. But your eyes hurt so much that you have to lie down, and lay there for an hour, eyes closed, unable to sleep. THen you wake up, and the cycle repeats.
Last night, I had a nightmare for the first time in years.
I am really starting to despise this new "I'm a nerd but I'm really cool too let me prove it to you" culture. I can't escape it. Why can't nerds just be regular people with nerdy hobbies rather than nerdy people trying to act cool or tough in gimmicky, obvious ways. Does this annoy anyone else?
>>686
It's easy to prove whether someone is a real nerd or not, though.
Find their area of nerdiness then ask them about it. Gamer nerds will not list Super Mario Bros or Call Of Duty as their favourite games, music nerds are not huge into indie pop or post-rock, comic nerds will probably not list a major character as their favourite, but if they do, they will know a hell of a lot about that character.
If someone says their a birdwatcher, then there's not even any need to go into it. You just know.
September has to be the best month.
I had this dream where I was fighting some badguy and I punched him in the face. Suddenly I woke up and realized I punched the wall.
> If someone says their a birdwatcher, then there's not even any need to go into it. You just know.
Dunno about that, one time I met a "birdwatcher" who kept namedropping shit like birds of paradise but when we got into detail all he could really talk about was the American sparrow.
I want to watch a drama about a single, working-class Japanese man, and his trials and tribulations. Does such a thing exist?
One time I had this dream I was eating a piece of bread. I woke up the next instant due to a sharp pain in my thumb and I realized I had tried to eat my thumb while dreaming. The worse part was I slept on my arm funny so my hand was numb, but I bit down so hard it still hurt.
There was also the time I had this dream where I was beating the shit out of this really annoying kid in my class. I was like, 6 and sleeping with my mom that night and I flung my arm out and smacked her right in the middle of her face.
>>695
My guess is that it depends on the number of times it must flap its wings in order to lift a coconut.
hello vippers!
I keep looking for a job but can't find one. I don't want to go to college.
Am I a NEET?
>>697
Hello! Are you having a bad day? Can we have a bad day together?
I woke up in the form of a giant roach today, I think this is the only post I'll be able to make until my sales supervisor comes looking for me.
VIPPING in the shade~ and sipping a smoothie from the bar~
I can't settle on a final class to sign up for this semester. What should I take?
I'm so tired and it's not even 10PM... ('A`)
The school starts in three days, and I will be at the inauguration in my high-school and I will meet my high-school-mates, and I will be so happy. And then I will still have a month of summer break and I will hang out with friends and chill and totally relax.
I wonder who is the oldest VIPPER here. Sometimes I get pleasant images of a 60-year-old veteran vipping from his sofa, sipping tea, and browsing a newspaper.

I think I had a dream about meeting a elderly white haired VIPPER, though he may have been an elderly white haired <something else unlikely>, I don't remember too clearly. But anyway he had an old car with a picnic hamper on the luggage rack and we had a tea party and either way he seemed like he would fit in here.
will the ancient council of true original VIPPERs please stand up
>>715
I can't even remember how long I've been browsing this site for.
Before I came here I used to post a bit on DQN and /VIP/, but I didn't spend anywhere near as much time in those places as I do here.
>>716
According to the archives, it would seem that I have been here for about two years, which sounds ridiculous. Which also means that I have been here since the beginning, which, again, I find hard to believe. I don't even remember how I got here. Perhaps I have migrated from /vip/@world4ch, before it became a sad wasteland overran by the you-know-whos.

Its conversations like these that make me proud to be a VIPPER!
I'm 25 and I am VIP
I turn 22 on Thursday
Am I allowed to say that I was once one of those sad original denizens of /b/?
I only just turned 20. Now, I feel at home here. Here and /prog/. Beautiful, terrible /prog/. It really has been two years... Here's to many more, fellow VIPPERs!
> Beautiful, terrible /prog/.
I miss the slow-moving prog of a few years ago, where putting a lot of effort in your trolling was rewarded in kind.
>>725
Anyone who disavows ever belonging to that group is a liar. Original /b/ doesn't even exist any more, so in a way, you're a martyr.
I turn 20 in a few weeks!
I left /b/ in 2006. It's sad to see the Internet you love go. I'm also 20 and I feel like a youngster now.
>>733
The average age of VIPPERs is like 20. There are no elders.
Except DADDY COOL, maybe. Grandpa doesn't count.
Summer break is over. I'm so happy.
Summer break is over.... What a bummer.
Summer break is over. I'm not sure how I feel.
I can't believe I'm truly an oldfag at 28. Please pour ashes on me.
I'm drinking a Corean drink, Milkis.

SAoVQ is obviously a gerontocracy.

Okay, so I have a Nintendo DSi. Can I do something VIP QUALITY with other owners of a DS here, like a chat or something?
月の下で、ロリといっしょ is clearly MUSLIM PROPAGANDA
TV series shouldn't have endings. I feel terrible every time I see the last episode. The action should be cut short before the finale, and a few official words given about what happened in the end.
>>751
There is an ancient Bangai-O Spirits thread, but there isn't a formal DS chat program or anything like that. Once Phantasy Star Zero comes out I plan on gathering some VIPPERS to play it together. Actually, I'd do it right now if there were enough willing to play the JPN version.
>>754
Coincidentally, I'm the play-Japanese-games VIPPER. But I don't think I can go beyond reading item names in Castlevania at my current level.
>>754
How exactly does Phantasy Star Zero work? If it's free then I'm in for when it comes to the US.
bonjour!
VIPPING with four less teeth. I had my wisdom teeth taken out. My jaw hurts and all I have is pills. The laughing gas was really quality, though!
I haven't been VIP in ages...
Take me back, Daddy Cool.
I'm hungry, sleepy, and itchy all over from mosquito bites, and none of these discomforts is serious enough to overshadow the others.
And now I'm also cold. I think I'm dying.
It plays more like PSO than PSU. You ideally form a team of four and select an area to explore. They're not as drawn out as they were in PSO, thankfully. In fact, everything goes faster like MAG feeding (you can give them items to boost only one stat) and leveling (100 is max, and you can go from 1 to 20 in under an hour by hanging with guys in the ruins, but it slows down later).
Other than that, you have the three basic classes and the three races from PSU. Magic works by removing the Gi and Ra forms of spells and instead lets you charge the basic spell in order to use them. Casts now have TP because they added a feature where weapons have special Photon Attacks that cost TP.
The core gameplay is the same. You enter a dungeon and kill. Each room yields a chest of items once cleared, and everyone gets a unique set of items (No more fighting over rares). The difficulty range is pretty broad in PS0. Especially the bosses. Dark Falz is a wimp compared to the GIANT GUNDAM that freezes you and hits you with his sword hands.
Overall I had a blast playing it when it was released. I wrecked my schedule playing it and even slept in half of Christmas eve.
And as for the menus and such, the weapons have symbols and you can get a feel of everything by playing around with them.
If I will have the time to take everything easy and not just rush through the game, then I'm in.
Oh, and can I play on my own, offline, with the online character?
I drank too much coffee this morning.
I'm supposed to be writing an essay on 'to what extent the experience of empire was dominated by exploitation'. I absolutely hate what I've written. Oh well.
>>Pay US$ 11.92 (~13.19 CAD) when using your Visa Card.
This 20% off when using a Visa sale is pretty awesome. I'm probably gonna pick up Blazblue now that it's part of the deal.

I am very angry.
( ゚ ヮ゚) VIPPER ONLINE ADVENTURE!
You may say I'm a VIPPER
But I'm not the only one
>>773
At least they didn't try to screw me over like yes-asia. Twice.
What do you guys do about the internet not being VIP anymore?
I feel bad for taking my prescribed Vicodin at all, but I'm way under the recommended dosage, and I just take it to take the edge off the pain after my surgery, so I feel justified.
VIPPING on my birthday
I'd like to apologise to every VIPPER that has made a post which I have not responded to. Sometimes, I am just too lazy, but if I had the time, I would respond to every VIPPER. That's it.
I really enjoyed Front Mission 3, should I get FM1?
hello everyone
This is a little late and maybe there was already a post about it that I missed, but to the VIPPER who went to Otakon this year, how did you enjoy your trip? Did you go anywhere else besides the convention while you where there?
>>783
I didn't like it as much as FM3. Download the SNES rom and try it out.
I am always reluctant to post in this thread because I always perceived it as being full of white noise posts

I am always reluctant to post in this thread because I have a messed up sleeping pattern (or lack of sleeping pattern) and I'm never sure what counts as my first visit in a day.
The Bible should have more passages about elder men summoning bears to maul the kids.
Elder Man would be a cool RPG monster. Different colored sprite, 5x as much HP as a Man, new powerful secondary attack.
WHITE NOISE ROCKS!
I just noticed we'll be soon approaching the end of this thread.
i've made some mayonnaise pasta because there was only that to things left to eat. i hope it's VIP quality.
With this we are one step closer to the end of this thread.

The State Fair is going on in my state right now and they brought some lumberjacks down from Canada, Michigan, and other places. I went to their show yesterday and it was MANLY. When I was young, I would read that anime magazine. And in one issue, there was a review of some excessively violent anime, and there was a short scene described about a little girl that enters an elevator and inside there's some bad guy, and the girl takes out a red gun and blows his brains out with exploding bullets. I'm in a Calculus class that covers theory as well and I am completely knew to this whole rigorous proof thing. How do you know what makes up a viable proof? It seems so arbitrary I never know where to start.

You should start with learning English/proofreading your posts before submitting them.

I've been told that I'm a male tsundere. But there's possible way such a thing could exist, right?
Yeah, there are male tsunderes. Even seen Fruits Baskets? That bitchy orange haired cat guy was a tsundere. I've also been informed that England from that new anime with the countries as humans is a tsudere and that it makes him "so fucking moe I wanna mangle his cock", according to a female friend.
Next time someone asks me why I'm being such a prick I'm going to say it's because I'm a tsundere.
Fuck yeah instant noodles.

Already poasted, but bumping nonetheless.

Apparently there's no mana burn in Magic 2010.
Back when I used to play Magic, I didn't even know what mana burn was.
>>888
I bet that guy will keep telling me that it sucks, and that he doesn't like actors, but Swayze was in [film]. Good god. I didn't even know what he looked like.
>>888
He will be missed. Escape from New York and Big Trouble in Little China were awesome.

Actually, it was not about haste, but about summoning sickness. The post was inaccurate, and deleted by user.
YOU KNOW NOTHING. Wait, now you do.
I'm going to have history lectures this semester. What the hell, I'm on CS (and at the EE faculty at that, not that crazy management faculty). I am confused and mad.
An early beta of Opera Mini 5 has been released with text kopipe and multi-tab capabilities. Eat your heart out UCweb!

>>902
Which reminds me that recently, I called some guy in the middle of tha night, shouted "T. S. Elliot" in the phone, and hung up.
My dog is tsundere for being stuffed under my bed.
I would like to think that my cat was tsundere and thats why she acted the way she acted, but no, she just hated me.
I always liked my dogs better anyways. ヽ(´ー`)ノ
My water is getting shut off from 8 to 10:30am, so today I had to wake up earlier than I should to take a shower, and then I filled all my bowls and jugs with water, just in case! Why would they turn it off then? Isn't that prime water time?
My Phantasy Star ZERO just arrived. Is the other VIPPER here?
All this studying is not very VIP...

I didn't realize TV TOKYO was so awesome.

Not >>908, but my work starts at 8:00, but its an hour long commute. I'm I a decent person?
I was told that my non-Japanese DSi is the reason why Phantasy Star 0 won't connect to the Internet. Is that true?
>>916
I can connect on my non Japanese DSi. My check just now was with a ROM but I'm fairly sure it worked when I had the actual game, although since I never really played it I may be lying.
( ゚ ヮ゚) Let's play together if you get it working!
>>917
I'm getting the generic failed to connect to network error, and when I try to configure the connection, it says "connection security settings something DS something somethingmasen", which makes me sad.
I'm playing story mode right now.
And also, how do I get a friend code?
>>918
Probably your DSi being picky with your router. Gotta mess around with some settings~
Yes, I'm there! Turns out that the network has to have either no security or a WEP key.
>>920
I chose my character based on the yellow scarf. Yellow scarves are excellent.
Hi, going to college soon. Up until now I had the habbit of keeping all my passwords in a tiny notebook and since I didn't leave my home for long, my familly doesn't know much about computers and guests weren't many, this hasn't been a problem.
I'm thinking of burning that notebook before leaving, and storing all those passes on my java phone's memory card.
What are the risks considering that each pass is in a separate file, all are encoded in twofish with an universal pass(more exactly with http://www.bermin.net/encrypt.html) and I'll upload them at home(in their encrypted form) periodically through SFTP(just in case the memory-card gets corrupted)?
>>921
I was talking about excellent scarves a lot just the other day, and the scarf that started it was yellow. We think alike, VIPPER.
Anyway, my friend code is 3223 4876 4625. I'm going out now but I could play later, though I should warn you I seriously suck at games that don't involve high speed bullet dodging.
>>923
Would it not be simpler to memorize them? Or are you worried that someone will torture and you'll speak, so it's safer not to memorize them? Or do you just have hundreds of passwords?
i'm going to buy something to eat because i haven't eat in two days.
>>924
Don't worry, I seriously suck at games that don't involve turn-based battles.
Soon, I am going to go to a normal party full of normal people. I really don't know what to talk about and I have problems with smalltalk.
I'll probably just end up standing around drinking and saying nothing, and people will try to talk to me but I won't be able to carry the conversation very far, and we'll end up just going 'hmm yeah' and looking at our feet, and then they will go away and speak to someone else, and I will just keep standing there, occasionally looking around the room nervously.
I want to go to an abnormal party, what ever that is. Maybe we can go to a jungle and smoke DMT and dance with water coolers to 1920's futurist compositions. That is my kind of party.
>>928
I was in exactly the same situation a month ago. Especially the "don't know what to talk about and I have problems with smalltalk" part. And I had exactly the same apprehensions. Fortunately for me, I managed to find a guy who was into nostalgia and video games, and we spent two hours taking turns in pointing out interesting bits of trivia about games.
>>909
Original PS0 advertiser here. I'll add you guys, but we really need a way to get in contact if we actually want to team up as I highly doubt that we shall bump into each other randomly online, especially considering how Nintendo WiFi works.
So yeah, excellent. My stepfather's shitty windows refuses to accept WEP codes, so I won't be able to play until I go back to my real home, and then it will be two weeks from now, and nobody will be there. Great.
>>930
How about right now?
>>931
Oh damn, this is what I was talking about. How about tomorrow at the 3:00PM EST around the VIP CHAT (if there even is one)?
>>932
If my calculations are correct, and that means 9:00PM GMT+1, then I am in.
>>929
I managed to find some cool but slightly crazy Spanish, French and Mexican students to chill with, so it was alright. As it turns out, I'm not as socially anxious as I thought I was.
AGE
I feel awkward and stupid saying this, but I have Swine Flu. Am I still VIP Quality?
>>938
As long as you stay alive and stay here, yes. Diseases are no match for VIPPERs. Just remember that you can't be VIP Quality after you die.
>>939
What if you died trying to boon across Japan National Route 1 in a Konata mask?
That sounds pretty VIP to me, but as I'm relatively new here, I'll let the veteran VIPPERs answer that for you.
>>941
You are not "new" to VIP. You either are VIP or are not VIP, and seeing as you're here, I believe that you are, indeed, VIP. Feel, don't think.
>>940
You must also be buried in a VIP way, like in the husk of a gundam that is shot into space.
I have indulged and gotten myself a whole new wardrobe. It makes me feel very VIP!
Has any VIPPER ever visited a psychologist? Did it help with your problem?
>>947
Yes. You should go, VIPPER, if you do feel like you want help.
I don't think I need a psychologist's help. Thats probably a sign that I need a psychologist's help...
>>947
I have visited two and neither of them helped me at all. But it might help you. The way I see it, having a psychologist is the equivalent to having a friend who is willing to listen and not judge. Although defining them in this way makes them seem worthless, close and caring friends are extremely rare.
Having said that, visiting a psychologist did not help me at all because they didn't match my personality. However, seeing a psychologist might help you. And so, if you have nothing to lose, than why not? I don't know why you want to visit, but here is an article about memory that might pertain to you.
http://discovermagazine.com/2009/jul-aug/03-how-much-of-your-memory-is-true
The article brushes on bad memories and the brain's ability to detach your emotional response from the memory itself. I think this is a large portion of what goes on in therapy for many people. This is me just talking, but I know that I still struggle with memories that still affect me. But then I try to take some joy in the fact that I am only getting further and further away from it as I get older. I hope my response helped you decide. And I'm very sorry if it didn't.
>>950
Actually, it was very helpful, and now I am sure that no psychologist will help me. And I already had two woe-sink friends, and that didn't help.
Schleppin'
It would be nice to have a small, Internet-enabled underwater box at the ocean floor.
"Yo, where ya goin' with all that SCUBA stuff?"
"I'm going to the Internet. To the underwater Internet."
>>953
I'd concur but I can't swim. I request your pretend internet be located atop a volcano or in outer space.
>>947
I was sent to a quack psychiatrist as a kid. Her meds made everything much worse. As in, they made the issues I previously had almost insignificant. Doing those pills was one of the worst things ever in my life, and today I still feel the effects of how they warped my sense of reality and my ability to feel empathetic. The adverse effects were also physically painful.
Of course, psychologists aren't psychiatrists, they try to figure out your problem instead of medicating it away, so you should go ahead.
But by all means, try to stay away from the pills.
>>951
I don't know if having "woe-sink" friends are equal to having friends who are willing to help and listen. If you aren't going to go to a psychologist, I hope you are willing to try to heal and fix yourself.
>>955
Not all meds or treatments will have those kinds of affects. It depends on the person as well as well as the treatment plan. But like with all things, you should be cautious and aware.
>>956
They are willing to listen, and willing to help, except they can't help. They just make things manageable.
Someone deployed page widening, halp
>>953
Or at least some microwave towers so I can be VIP from my iphone 100 feet under.
Therapy only made me more pissed off than I ever was before.
Pills are the only thing that make my brain function correctly.
I'm feeling so nondescriptly right now. I have done all my chores, and I found myself having two hours left.
And my dog has just sneaked on me in the darkness of my room.
I am on my way to dressing like a professor and/or scientist of the early 1900s. Feels good man.
Damn those chat threads, damn them to hell

Today, I wondered: Is it VIP to drink juice straight out of the carton?
My reasoning is, this way, I don't have to dirty a glass, and I just wanted some sips.
>>976
I think it depends on if you share the cartoon with anyone else.
Strawberry Milk is pretty delicious! I recommend it over orange juice.
Would someone please explain the origin and meaning of that meme? It's popping up all over that place but I can't find any info on it.
>>979
It's from a commercial I believe. I haven't seen the original though.
My pants are bumping this post!!!
My new course-mate asked me what kind of music I listen to. Not thinking much, I began with "country", then I realised what I had done. It was too late to say "Johnny Cash, actually", and now I will always be the guy who listens to country.
I like country too. Johnny Cash, Townes Van Zandt, Hank Williams etc. It's not all Dolly Parton and Hillbillies, anyone who knows about music will realize this.
