Between using words like 'sperglord' and saying things like 'this VIP shit', you sound like a typical 4channer. :V
Spring break, huh
>>754
Horse feces and the word "sperglord" were hurled at a VIPPER.
>>754
Please don't. It was just the usual occasional outbreak of disquality.
Now, let's discuss something else, like our preferred axe brands. I enjoy the Fiskars axes. I like the way their axe-heads are mounted, it makes you safe that you won't end up with the dislocated axe-head in your leg. They are also the perfect weight, light enough for continuous use, but just heavy enough to split the log with the minimal application of force.
I am too girly to use an axe.
it's the first time since a year should I bump more than once
>>756
I like my USB iAxe. I use it to play masterpieces with Nirvana-quality virtuosity.
>>761
I like my USB PS2-controller adapter and DJ DAO. I use it to be a sequencer like this guy: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rn1qKbZC9a4
Mmmm, brownies.
I'm not sure how I feel about the end of Kaiba. Without spoiling it for >>722, I'll just say although it was suitably epic and tumultuous, I felt it wasn't as personally moving as it could have been. I think there was too much of the familiar anime trope of "SO AND SO DIED oh wait they're still alive" at the last moment.
Still a QUALITY anime though, I highly recommend it to all VIPPERS.
>>764
I don't really think there was ever a moment where you are legitimately supposed to think anyone died. It's more of a terrific love story than anything (at least to me).
Today in the morning, I discovered that I have faint sideburns.
Huh buh duh wha?
I planned to do dishes and start making dinner at 5. It's 5:10. What am I doing?!?
I love working night shift.
I work all by myself without anyone interrupting me for useless meetings. Finish at around dawn went for a nice five mile run as the sun rose(with plenty of BU-Ning) Now I am tucking into some delicious Coq au vin I whipped up, while I am watching The Legend of Koizumi OVA.
Sometimes life is really good to me.
Also fuck you Kathy you are a shitty human being and I am better without you.
>>771
Little does Mike Ferreira know, I would like nothing more than to see the American anime fanbase die. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAA!
>>771
I don't even watch anime anymore. There's so much shit these days that it's not even worth watching, let alone worth paying for.
>>773
Sir, we believe you're thinking too much and not feeling enough. If you'll just follow me, this'll be rectified soon.
>>771
PAYING FOR ANIME LOL
But, seriously, this guy is a whiny fuckhandle who thinks that he has the industry figured out. There's a little problem with his (poorly thought-out) rant: The anime market in Japan is not a huge mainstream market aside from a few select franchises. Generally, if you admit to watching anime past the age of 12 in Japan, people will think of you as a basement-dwelling pedophile. Thinking of it in terms of a HUEG MASS APPEAL INDUSTRY GRRRRRGH in any country is laughable at best.
Anime, for the US, at least, was a fad. Get the fuck over it.
Also, >>773.
>>774
The only anime I've enjoyed in the past few years were Kaiji and Akagi, and that's because nobody was translating the comics.
>>771
I never understood why people assume fans of a subculture simply want whatever the subculture is based around to do well. Clearly, we don't care. I'd rather anime fandom be completely destroyed than to have annoying Naruto fans running about.
I don't really get the idea of fandom or being a fan. I don't like anime, there are anime I like. There's a difference, and I think of everything the same way, even mediums or genres I'm particularly interested in. With specific works or individuals it's a little different, but I would rarely describe myself as a "fan of x".
i been bumpin again
So today I installed Linux. Nothing fancy, just Xubuntu, since I'm still getting used to it. I'm really liking everything so far, although I need to change a few settings before I can really say that I'm adjusted to it. Programming is much easier under this environment than it is under that mess we call "trying to use a command line compiler on Windows."
Anyways, try to guess what was the first thing I did after installing Xubuntu.
Stumped?
I installed Mona Font, and went on SAoVQ to look at some SJIS arts.

I want to attempt to beat the world record of keeping neko_miko_reimu.swf open at full volume. Do you want to be my witnesses?
I am sorry, dear bump thread, for I have visited multiple times in the past week, but have not posted in this thread, or any other thread for that matter.
I am truly sorry, and hope that you can one day forgive me, so I may strive towards being VIP once again.
My best friend Dan was a genius, a real bona fide genius when it came to robotics. He could change the world if he wanted, but for his eccentric channelling of his works. For years he'd worked on and off making what he considered his ultimate partner, and then one day 'she' was sitting on his bedroom floor. I was speechless at the time; he'd really designed a perfect woman.
She didn't have a mouth. Perfection!
What truly amazed me was the universal remote he'd installed in her breasts. With subtle nuances in his grasping at her artificial mammaries he was able to turn on his DVD player and select scenes in seconds without even looking up. The way he handled her brought a tear to my eyes.
I decided to take him out for a drink, to celebrate his achievement. We decided to take his car, though Dan was loathe to leave his creation at home. He took her to the doorway as I walked to his garage, and he issued her some commands to keep her busy while he was gone.
Then he hugged her. It was beautiful, this man and his creation pressed close against one another, loathe to separate.
Then her tits beeped, and the garage door flew open into my face.
One day, I will be VIP enough for this board. I am lucky enough to have a steady flow of VIP coins.
I passed the first stage and the interview is at Monday. I'm scared.
You can do it, >>791! I suggest you bring in a large stump, plop it on the table, and chainsaw it in half. This will show them your sincere spirit.
I am nurturing an omegle obsession and thus have become really unproductive as of late!
There should be a training course for young persons of quality (perhaps /vip/?) or a higher cost of entry.
Is there a senior discount? I'm on a fixed VIP coin income.
>>802
Please come with me, sir.
Maybe I'm just old fashioned but I think an advert for [some kind of product that makes beef delicious] - I wasn't paying attention - featuring little kids dressed as cows greedily eating beef is pretty weird.
I think the internet is just going through a bad period. All the websites I got to have gone downhill these past couple months.
>>805
I agree with you, it is kind of refreshing to come back to SAoVQ and see that it hasn't changed much, even with so many new posters. (・з・) does a really god job preserving the community, and it is simply fantastic.
New VIPPERs, please try your best to make both (・з・) and DaDDYC Ool proud!
I'm thinking of getting a PS3, only for FFXIII and MGS4.
>>808
That was my thinking. Both disappointed.
Get one for Demon's Souls.
>>809
and Valkyria Chronicles.
I hope Atelier Rorona will be good too.
And also Star Ocean 4. Forgot Star Ocean 4.
>>809
Could you elaborate about FFXII? I enjoyed all FFs up to FFX, inclusive.
>And also Star Ocean 4. Forgot Star Ocean 4.
Nah, you can keep forgetting about SO4.
Acrylic dye facial
I'm thinking about getting an xbox for the shmups. Is this a worthy investment?
> Forgot Star Ocean 4.
I certainly didn't, I wish I could unplay it. The worst thing was how every scene was written so that every character (including the 3 dumb girls, I mean moé lolis) gets to utter at least one vapid line. The second worst thing was the movement system, Claude Shepard was made as fast and uncontrollable as a 3D Sonic so he'd run into more enemies - screwing up something as basic as moving around, that's the sort of thing we'd never imagined of Tri-ace a few years ago.
> Could you elaborate about [FFXIII]?
It's a pretty on-rails meta-final-fantasy sort of game, where you battle by switching strategies from a deck of 6 then watch your characters play some elegant FF-inspired tug-of-war that happens way too fast for you to intervene. There are almost no weaklings, so even easy matches require that you gain momentum. I spent every fight looking away from the screen and pressing X repeatedly until a victory or the occasional "retry?" screen ensued three minutes later. On the positive side, the main antagonist is Benedict XVI, and I learned how to prepare coffee one-handed. I'd recommend it to kids, but I hoped it'd make me feel like one again.
179 turns until Ragnarok.
I'm not feeling particularly well. I wish today was Saturday so I didn't have to get up at 6am.
I'm not feeling particularly well either, but I am on vacation so it is okay!
I got a bug in my eye when I was speeding home today, except I was speeding on feet and it was disturbing and unexpected.
>>829
It's because you have to mention that fact at all that I feel I can't claim to "like" it anymore. I still don't know the name of some of the Touhous, "stage 4 boss" being a good enough name to me.
> What?
That it's assumed you're a fan of the characters if you claim to like it.
Wow, this thread has gone by fast!
Of course, we still have one hundred and some-odd more posts to go...
Whats with all the AA on SAoVQ lately?
I'm still curious about this. Why is it that nearly everything's gone so far downhill in the past few months?
Technically, it's not meta-discussion if I'm not talking about SAoVQ.
Because you believe it has. Stop obsessing about it guys, please.
Has anyone seen/heard from DoggyCool in awhile?
